I spoke with our lady and T-o-M on the phone yesterday. She is home but in a lot of pain. She is facing a new round of treatments so the latest occurrence can be removed. The new lesion is causing her pain and respiratory distress. They both send their love and appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers and positive energy.

Hello everyone, Thank you so much for your continued support!! We surely do appreciate all of your wonderful comments. And TJ, you're awesome for being our voice on hear while we are going through this. I don't want to be doom and gloom, but I'll explain her situation.

I read to her all of your comments, and she is so appreciative, gives her continued hope once again! Another tumor was detected on the inside of her rib cage, which is pressing on her lung and breaking through her bone, about an inch and a half in diameter.

She is scheduled to get set up for radiation next week, 10 scheduled treatments, and chemo to follow. She is on many pain meds, which surprisingly is only just taking the edge off.

I am taking off work for the next few weeks so I can give her the care she needs. The doctors are confident that giving her radiation will be a 100% success! I will keep all of you updated on her progress.

autolycus, We live in Pittsburgh, so just a little more south east and we will see your beam of hope!
