The YL 170 on the left (I think she's a YL clone) has suffered a broken right foot. She's the one you see on page 1, with the dark hair. I thought I should fix that.
I weld repair old cars as another hobby. The broken foot shall be repaired!
I didnt feel too worried about cutting into her foot as I've got some of 3M 94 Primer glue which I've yet to try.
This clone was badly made. There was only one spot if weld attaching her foot plate to the ankle bolt, see pic. I lined the area with cooking foil to minimise weld spatter onto TPE. I used my trusty MIG welder and deposited a few welds.
She stands again. Will repair the gash next

Here's how I stitched up her repair.
The 3M Primer 94 is so easy to use it's brilliant. I resorted to needle and thread to keep the joint aligned. Picking off the stitching afterwards took some care as it could cut into her TPE flesh.
