Hi! Our website isn't malicious. We do not know why avast is doing this to us. People who are using avast usually have to turn it off to visit our website.ColColt wrote:This is weird-I clicked on the top banner and got this from my antivirus program moments ago.

AVG and Defender both reject your banner as malicious on my computer.

I can confirm that AVG blocks your site also.YourDoll wrote:Hi! Our website isn't malicious. We do not know why avast is doing this to us. I don't doubt you. Just confirming that something is going on with your site that is affecting antivirus software.

or from a Google search page: https://www.google.com/search?source=hp ... jHZVkRF4SM
even as a secure link.
Let us (mgt.) know if we need to change anything
I also changed the topic title to make it less suggestive

Re: YL showing as Malicious Site?
The avast screenshot is a little crazy.
So as of avast Web Shield you browsed the Website "URL:Mal" and avast found an infection called "www.yldoll.com"?We've safely aborted connection on URL:Mal because it was infected with http://www.yldoll.com.
Are modern virus scanners this stupid?
Reports from some virus scanning sites:
https://www.virustotal.com/#/url/525d8f ... /detection
=> clean
https://www.urlvoid.com/scan/yldoll.com/
=> clean
http://www.malwaredomainlist.com/mdl.ph ... uantity=50
=> nothing found
Avast and AVG are the same company.The Messenger wrote:Sorry, but I don't use avast.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVG_Technologies
"In July 2016, Avast announced that it intends to acquire AVG. The acquisition was completed on September 30, 2016 and Avast and AVG operate as a single company since October 3, 2016, retaining the two separate brands."
This is a completely different problem. As soon as a website is loaded over a secure connection (https) every modern browser rejects downloading images, CSS, JavaScript, etc. over a non secure connection. See: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... ed_contentMr Franz wrote:My Opera browser lets the site itself open, but states that some content has been blocked, because it comes from an unsecured source.
The start page from https://www.yldoll.com has two non secure links:
Code: Select all
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.yldoll.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet 'http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway:400,300,900'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Re: YL showing as Malicious Site?
I used to get the same mal-ware warning (from AVG). But I just visited their site and it worked fine.

It is starting to seem more and more like they want to check which sites you are allowed to visit and which ones are not ....... Fuck it, I decide which paths I walk and not the ones they want you to walk.

Re: Malicious Site?
Yep, I get the very same message. It's something to do with the ads on the site. MalewareBytes prevents the site from opening altogether. When turned off, my Opera browser just blocks the adware itself and lets the rest of the site load. Does the same thing from time to time on certain threads here, regardless of whether or not I've clicked a link. I trust MalewareBytes. They've gotten me out of more than one jam over the years.ColColt wrote:I'm still getting pop up "Threat Detected" from not only avast but this last url above I got one from MalwareBytes today.The Messenger wrote:Yeah, I get the same thing.
