Doll Stand

YLDoll is doll manufacturer based in China. Since 2013 we have been creating life size dolls made of thermoplastic elastomer known as TPE. The dolls are incredibly soft to the touch and when powdered feel very similar to human skin. These dolls are anatomically correct but can be used for other purposes besides sexual such as companions, film props, mannequins or decoration. Our dolls are very flexible and poseable by using stainless steel skeleton designs. Our team consists of excellent designers and production workers to provide excellent before and after-sale service. All materials comply with the National Health & Safety Standards which is harmless to humans and is environmental friendly. We offer OEM service!

Post by Anton »

Is there a recommended stand that folks buy for their YL ladies ?
Does the doll need adapting to use a stand?
Many thanks.

I might be totally thick here, but why would you need a stand???
I have 3 YL Dolls, YL155D, YL157, and YL170D along with vast collection of other standing TPE WM/OR, Irontech and other brands 18 TPE in total.
They all can stand perfectly on their own, I can stand them or hang them in the wardrobe, with the feet touching the wardrobe base. They can sit on the bed or lay down if required, I stand them wearing boots, slightly leaning back against the wall with a piece of foam behind them. I have never for one moment thought, oh I need a stand.

Simply because mine won’t stand like yours does would seem like an obvious answer.

I remember someone posting they used something like this, to hang their doll with the neck connector:

You can always get an M16 eye bolt to screw into the neck bolt then get another eye bolt size can be 3/8 or 1/2 inch which you can then bolt to anywhere you wish to hang your doll. You can also make your own stand for a fraction of the cost following the same procedures.

Anton , some time ago I made a stand's for my Teddy Babes - using a piece of ply board and a painters roller pole (adjustable) and a hose to tap fitting for the crutch support could the same idea be used - using heaver materials - for a heaver doll ?

Mk 1 version shown , before removing the brush/roller fitting and fitting a blanking end .
the use of a choker holds the babes neck/head to the pole .

Ok,
A couple things like dollar hyde said, you will need a bolt to hang her from.....
If you can find a good wall stud, you can have her pretty much flush to your wall, but PUT memory foam behind her for obvious reasons.
You will need something that can handle her weight.
A frame that holds a heavy boxing bag for example.
Love,
Megan

I wouldn't mind a purpose built stand for photography, like the Victorian photographers used to use.
