YL155A

Post by tommie987654321 »

I don't know if this is the right section for this, if not , I'm sure the moderators will move it.

Just thought you might like to know that a YL155A with head WM#130, has been regarded by UK Border Force as childlike and has been seized.

This is what happens when there are no specific laws or clear guidelines and border force officers can act with impunity.
It seems the goalposts are continuously being moved in order to seize more dolls. Maybe the statistics make it look like they are doing a good job.
If this is what can happen with an official TDF approved UK vendor, then anybody trying to import an apparently legal adult doll into the UK by themselves, is taking a big risk, it would seem.

First of, without proof please be careful making claims regarding what is and is not considered banned/illegal....given there are no banned dolls and still no laws in the uk...only guidance (which is not law).

One of them may have been temporarily seized....that does not mean all are a problem. Less hyperbole and more facts please. I am also sure the vendor is also in communication as the importer with the UK authorities no?

The vendor is going to appeal the decision. The outcome will be interesting.
They also had a problem , about a year ago, with a WM158A. That doll was seized and never returned.

You are absolutely correct in saying there are no specific laws in the UK regarding dolls, Instead they are using outdated obscenity laws and have reinterpreted them to try and fit. The so called guidance issued isn't really clear enough either.
Everything is open to subjective interpretation by individual border force officers, some of which may have predjudices or agendas regarding dolls.
As long as this situation continues , Border Force will continue to act with impunity.
Things need to change....
