WM168E + Magnetic M16 Connector Compatibility

I need help finding out which magnetic m16 connector -- 32 mm or 42 mm -- is compatible with my WM168E+142 (bought Apr 23).

I measured the screws and here's what I got:

- M16 screw = about 24 mm
- Head connector = about 15 mm deep
- Body connector = about 15 mm deep

It seems that the head fits the old 42 mm connector (bottom left in the attached picture, 16 mm deep), while the body fits the new 32 mm (top right, 17 mm deep). So I'm not sure whether I'm doing this correctly.

If I get the new 32 mm (because my WM168E is produced in 2018), wouldn't the 13 mm deep head connector be too short?
