The doll I purchased is ready to ship. Should I be worried?

I'm feeling a mixture of excitement and regret. The vendor has shown me photos of the completed doll I'm soon to receive, a WM 145 C-cup with head #88. There are two issues I'm having with it.

The first and smaller issue is the thumbs. Too long. They just don't look right to me. When asked, the vendor assured me that everything was in proportion and made from a mold, and at any rate it can't be changed now. Pictures below.

Maybe I'm imagining this. Can someone reassure me that the thumbs are in fact ok?

The second and larger issue is my own fault. After shopping for dolls day after day for weeks, on one day upon seeing head #88 I got a little too hasty. Falling in love with that face combined with the feeling of "damn it, it's time to buy one of these already" caused me to jump the gun and make a fast purchase overlooking the fact that body 145 C is... not quite my ideal body. Close to it, but the hips/butt/thighs are a little too large for my tastes. (you can only barely tell from the pics below but I've seen others)

Not that they aren't realistic, and to another guy they could be totally perfect. But this was supposed to be MY dreamgirl and my dreamgirl would have slim proportions in those areas. I realized this yesterday, actually, when I came across more promo photos of the same body I had just ordered. Again, it's not that the body looks bad or is exaggerated in any way, but rather that bottom-heavy girls--even slightly bottom-heavy girls--are not my type. But I don't know what I can do about it now.

Everything else about her IS perfect to my liking. Her face, breasts, color of her skin, even her short height...I love it. She is almost my dreamgirl. Almost but not quite

If dolls didn't cost over $1000 maybe I would not be feeling this wave of regret. Maybe I would just let it go.

It's not possible to home-mod the proportions of such essential features like hips/butt/thighs, is it?? I wish she had the lower proportions of the 145 D with the upper proportions of the 145 C.

The thumbs are meant to look like that, no worries. But I'm afraid about her bottom measurements there can't be done anything. If you don't like her that way I'd greatfully take her

But I'm pretty sure you still can change her body, though the 145 D is not much less "fleshy" at her lower regions.

If this is your first doll you may want to just take delivery of her. The odds are high that you will really like her when she is right in front of you.

Her hips look a little meaty in the photos but she is only 145 cm tall, so she is a petite doll to begin with. Her meaty hips are really meaty "little" hips if you get what I'm saying.

But you can always ask your vendor what your options are. They may be able to let you do a last minute switch. No harm in asking.

She looks fine to me. Very proportionate. The hands look that way right out of the mold, flat and stretched out. Once you position them, giving them the proper curve, they'll look more normal. As for her bum, that too looks a little different in a sitting position then it will when she's standing or lying down. Relax, she's fine.

Don't worry too much dude, it's almost impossible to find 100% perfect girl. I have a 145 and sitting always spreads the tpe, making her look far more chubby down there. Stand, kneel it's a nice slender butt. Looking at that hot face you will not even think about anything else.

When I ordered my first doll, I had some doubts also. Same thing, "is she right for me" and other doubts during the wait to get her. I can tell you that all of those doubts vanished into thin air the instant I opened the box and saw her. There's something about it, when you go from seeing photos of her on your computer to actually having her right there in front of you. And I'm pretty sure that you and I aren't the first guys to experience that. Just wait til she gets there, and don't worry, you'll love her.

She's a cutie.I wouldn't worry about it.When I received my first pic of my doll from the manufacturer she was in that same position and she looked chubby,which I don't like and it freaked me out.When I finally got her out of the box and standing up she was a perfect slender babe.

About her lower portions, I want to believe that she'll look slim standing up, but in all the promo pics I've seen of this body she looks meaty down there no matter the pose. (see below pic for instance)

I did request a body change the day before (wanted to switch to the 153cm, offering of course to pay the difference in price) but was refused.

Yes, this is my first doll.

Vagina is an insert and I will try to follow those steps.

I should have mentioned that I'm obsessed with girls' legs more than any other body part. That's where my eyes and hands always go. I really prefer them thin. I guess it's testament to the realism of these dolls that a pretty face ("pretty" is an understatement) could temporarily make me forget that.

Well the doll is in the mail now so there's nothing to do but wait and see.

I like slim legs too. Even after being an experienced buyer, I bought a doll that had some extra meat below. She doesn't fit in a size 0 pants like my other dolls. She's still cute overall and my other complaints are not relevant to this.

Someday, you'll get another doll and when you slip on a pair of size 0 jeans, it is an experience that puts a big smile on your face. For me, it took me back to when I dated the hottest skinniest girl I ever did. And now she's forever in my bed.

It would really help if manufactures/vendors had galleries that included technical nude shots from all angles and clothing sizes or at least the other measurements that are not just height, bust, waist, hips. Include girth of upper arms, forearms, wrist, upper thigh, calves, shoulder to should, armpit to armpit, lips to vulva, groin to heel, an length. And anything else I forgot.

maybe I misled this guy, sorry man, mine is older 145-D. Stats may be different.

I am with the skinny, tight butt lovers but few choices in tall models. They are mostly making Queen Kong beefball girls these days.

I'm with ya DQ but i'll believe it when I see it regarding manufactures/vendors stats. Besides they will either be wrong or lying. I heard one factory measures height with toes pointed so take off 1 1/2" from the height.

Like we are buying ballet dancers right?

The thumbs are perfectly accurate. All of us look that way when we aren't posed just right. Once you receive her and begin to work with her and pose her in more realistic way, just as my new mate does with me you will see how perfect her thumbs really are. It's just that the pics from the new manufacture are straightforward with no special posing. My pics weren't any better, really. I'll include a pic of me from the manufacturer and from me now posed properly in the right lighting. I know my new mate was worried after spending all that money on me (nearly $2,000.00) and wondered if he had made the right choice, but once he opened the box and saw me, even headless lol, he fell in love with me. I'm sure it will be the same for you and your doll.

Hey, I just want to chime in and say I purchased my first ever doll a few weeks back. She arrived a couple of days ago and I admit as soon as I submitted payment for her I began to wonder if I had done the right thing, and then I saw the pics I was sent after she was made and they didn't look as good as what I had seen on the page for this doll and then I really began to wonder if I had made a mistake. Then she arrived and I opened the box and even without her head attached that beautiful nude body just sucked me right in. I put her all together and haven't worried about my decision to spend so much money on this doll. She is GORGEOUS and I'm glad I have her. I'm sure your worries will abate once your doll arrives, too.

Really hope so! And I am planning on it; gonna start buying clothes for her tomorrow.

But if it just doesn't work out for me I guess I could keep the head and sell the body here or on Craigslist (assuming dolls can be sold there) and order a new body.

Either way I'll report back what happens.
