Re: OMG WM WTF?
Alright, So...
I have been in constant contact with the vendor and I am getting another body.
This is not entirely WM‘s fault. Though they have stepped up for me.
This definitely has restored my faith in this company. Completely.
Due to this, I will be purchasing more WM dolls without fear.
There is still the issue of them changing the specs on their bodies without notifying people.
And I think the body modifications were done because people complain too much about the dolls weight. Had to of been an issue because they modified more than one body style.
So the one thing to take away from that is, make sure you ask your vendor if the manufacturer has made any modifications to the product before you order it.
It kind of worked out, now I have two DIFFERENT 168WM’s.
I just wanted everyone to know that I am getting properly taken care of.
This incident should not affect anyone’s choice to purchase a WM.
They will do what’s right in the end.
Thank you everyone on the TDF for your support and concern.
I will definitely post pictures of my girl for you all.

Re: OMG WM WTF? -NEW BODY UPDATE!
Another body is on its way. Looks very nice. And it looks like they even threw in the shrugging shoulders option for me too. Very nice. I can also tell she has the rounder hips like I prefer. Very nice indeed. Awesome, in fact.
Everything worked out in the end. WM really stepped up to the plate. I feel great. Really wipes that whole horrible event of the original unboxing away. I’ll post pics when she arrives.
Thank you WM!

Re: OMG WM WTF?
Well, after extensive chiropractic therapy, (And a little Dr. Frankenstein role-play), she has recovered nicely from ICU, with only mild scarring on either bicep to the naked eye. But...Sodium wrote:Still would have like to have seen the original one out of the box. ;P

I think she has a slightly permanently bent skeleton in the shoulders area from the impact. But have you ever known an RG to not stand with their body cocked? Won’t be posing her on a regular basis anyway. She gets major creases if her arms extended outward. The TPE will definitely fail in that area with usage over time due to the trauma. And the dexterity of the skeleton may have been compromised enough to prevent further repetitive bending. So she’s just going to stand there and look pretty.
When she came out of anesthesia, she told me her name is Jenna. She’s gorgeous! Couldn’t thank me enough for saving her life. I think she has a special “Thank you“ in mind…
Major props to WM on the make up job on this one. Her eyes are way more realistic than my other dolls too. She is my “miracle babe”.
I will be posting photos of her replacement when she arrives.

Re: OMG WM WTF?
Everything on mine straightened out just fine, and there was no noticeable damage, so all is good - but I have to admit it looked frightening when I opened the box.
Re: OMG WM WTF?
Also, just a suggestion about what you said about not wanting to move her much. If you loosen the joints, it will take less force to move them. All you would have to do is get the right size Allen key and know where to poke a pinhole to put it in. A pinhole in TPE will open enough to put an Allen key through and if you heat the key up while it's still in there and then pull it out, it'll seal the hole. Since you're getting a new body anyway, it may be worth it if you do want to pose her.

Re: OMG WM WTF?
Thanks. I’ve noticed all my dolls have been shipped with somewhat of an arch in their back. I think that’s because if they are laid out completely flat at the Point of “stop”, any impact might snap that joint because it no longer has room for margin to move in that given direction.Straytoaster wrote:I'm glad things worked out well for you. My first WM doll arrived a few days ago, and I'll admit I panicked a bit when I noticed the arch of her back in the box. Her neck was also at an extreme angle, though not as bad as yours. To me it just looks like they are trying too hard to keep the box at a certain length, and extra six inches would have allowed for a much more natural fit.

I appreciate the info but I think I may just leave her as she is. With my luck, I’d probably make the situation worse. I don’t move my standing dolls or pose them anyway. They are just basically “erotic” room decor. Once they’re set up in position, there they stay.BWheeler1 wrote:Under the advice of another member, I recently used Permatex windshield sealer to glue my doll's face skin back to her skull, and found that it works to fill gaps where her skin has pulled away from her skeleton. I already fixed her feet this way. She has the same crease in her shoulder that you showed in your pictures, and I plan to use it to try to fill that gap and eliminate the crease. If it works, I'll let you know. All it's going to take is a pinhole to insert the point of the tube and squeeze it in.

I have the two non-standing that I “play with”.

Re: OMG WM WTF?
WM still needs to work on their packaging though. It busted through the box on the neck side again. It’s only because there’s no foam right there. They need to change that. But she made it unscathed and came out gorgeous! Jenna turned out gorgeous as well! I am most happy.

I really wish i'd recieved the old model.. I like mine...but for me it's kinda like the smaller big screen tv you buy at the store..but then every time you go to the store you still look at the model you actually wanted.
