Re: my first TPE doll - one month later...mixed feelings
While elaborating my doll collection I have Always been in search for realism as I realised fast that such quality is the best feelings and erotism enhancer.
So what is a realistic doll?
1. The height must be at least equal to the adult average height (last generation if you choose them in the 20 to 40 years old bracket) in the country you live in. I bought small dolls to study the whole market but underneath 165cm I am taken aback by a weird feeling of too small limbs.
2. The body ratios must range into the average we see around us. The doll may be skinny or slim or curvy no importance but average body ratios of the women we can date in the neighbourhood must be respected. Mainly the ratio shoulders width, hips width (around 1:1), the ratio legs lenght to overall height (.45 to .50), the ratio head lenght to overall height (1/7.5), the waistline ratio to the hipsline and the waistline ratio to the underbust line must also respect the averages of adult women (0.65 to .70 and .80 to .85 no wasp waists and no shrinked ribcage) The body thicknesses and general shapes must also respect the averages.(the feminine thigh circumference, the feminine link of the buttock with the thigh must be emphasized and so on.
3. The breast size must also preferably be in line with the country average (world average is Bcup however some countries have lower or larger averages partialy linked to the body B.M.I (body mass index or degree of obesity)
4. The main backdrop of realism is the weight of the doll that is why I am trying to convince manufacturers to use already existing weight reduction devices on the skeleton of TPE dolls.(hollow ribcage, large thigh pipe diameter)
You want an example of a perfect realistic body?
Standard European adult clothing size(slim alluring body also called dream-body): IRT AYUMI 168 a 171cm B cup 43kgs doll copied from the porno actress AYUMI ANIME.
I have that one together with 26 others (a 27th is coming) and that is really the one who generate the most natural realistic feelings (love and erotism) of them all.
Other dolls I have are also more realistic than the average. For example, I have reviewed here the WMDOLL 166B viewtopic.php?f=215&t=111769
I have also ordered the WMdoll 166C in order to compare them side by side.
The 166B is more realistic than most other WMdoll production but still thiner and not so adult looking as AYUMI. The legs thicknesses and the ratio thigh lenght to calve lenght are poor altough the legs lenght are correct. AYUMI has perfectly realistic legs thicknesses, specific ratios and sculpt.
I look forward to check the legs of the sligthly wasp shaped WMDOLL 166C.

On the plus side, you have the experience of moving her around, so something a little heavier (hopefully) won't be a big deal.
Keep sharing your thoughts also. This is a creative bunch. I get new ideas every day just hanging out here.

I think SM's 157cm C-cup is also incredibly realistic, if realism is the primary objective. If I wasn't already kind of over Eastern European softcore I'd have gone nuts over this design. It looks like about a dozen Met-Art models to me body-wise.Dollsampler wrote: You want an example of a perfect realistic body?

Breast size is another example. I do prefer the more normal looking B and C cups, but again as one can tell by the threads on here, the large L, M, and O cups also have a following. It's pretty much to each his own. I'd never own a doll with huge mammoth breasts or large thighs and ass, but I understand that there are many who love exactly that. And as far as ratios, I pretty much just look at the doll from a few angles and go with what looks good to me. The only time I worry about measurements is when I'm buying them clothes. Which is why I like the 157B which has been called more of a fantasy body so much. Because I figure if I'm going to buy a doll and I can have her whatever size and shape I want, why constrain myself to average when I can have fantasy?

Okay, the spa is def not an option then. It doesnt hold bleach, but is has a chlorine floater.. seemed a good way to me to heat her up. I may consider buying a heating blanket. Or i just wait till summer and hope for heat stroke
I do enjoy her company, sleeping, dressing and cuddle, aside from the sexual part. But it would be great if i could turn that switch in my head and get off on her. For now i just let it be. I already put her up in the sales topic but i don’t know if i’m asking to much or not. Anyway, no hurry i keep her just for company now.
About the face, i think she looks quite realstic for a tpe doll. I’ve seen some pics on the forum from silicone high end grade dolls and there’s a noticeable difference.. since i dident want to spend more than 2K on my doll, i understand that i can’t get the level of finish on my doll.

Btw, I've seen 'larger' dolls, but some have only 'longer legs' , which sometimes just resemble tubes... not sure if that will enhance the experience.
I got a sample of TPE, which gave me the impression of a 'fleshlight', not sure if I would like to lay next to a 'fine girl, but in a sense smells like a big fleshlight' .

Point 4 also man excellent points. I once read someone of the opnion that 'if doll manufactures could reduce the weight (in such ways) the would'...But clearly I think this is not the case. It's always funny to me when people claim 'dolls are good design' thinking of how many improvement one can come up with in minutes. Finger, mouth, feet-length and weight could all easily be improved. Probably if they did in fact put their mind to making improvents; for example the weight, they could with examples you mention reduce the weight significantly...allowing for really realistic sized gals. I mean mainly in underbreast&breast and legs in general dolls could look way more realistic.

Hi stevevoltas,
Yes the SM 157 C is realistic and has a nice sculpt. I must point out that the two moulds of IRT 168 AYUMI were in fact made by SM factory sculptors for IRT and if I remember well that happened before they released their 157 C model.

Re: my first TPE doll - one month later...mixed feelings
I'm buying my first doll through Jeff at BCDs, and it's the Piper 150. She was a choice I made for a number of technical reasons, but also because she has a "look" that inspires me to do something with her as a side project. I am (confession time) a porn producer, as well as non-porn video, post-production, photography and creative. That's what I do. So, I came up with the idea today of doing a video series called "My Super Hot, but Super Annoying AI Girlfriend". I'm literally going to shoot a pilot episode of this - the premise is that in an alternate reality, I buy her as a product called the AI girlfriend and she communicates with me through an app. Yes, that already exists, but my idea is to take that deep into the singularity idea, but with humour. For example, she is AI, so she becomes smarter and smarter all the time, but rather than use that intellect to better humanity, she just becomes super-high maintenance, super needy, and super horny. She uses her AI intellect to trick me into doing things for her, or hacking my emails to friends and clients - like she'll auto-correct "lets eat lunch tomorrow" to "lets eat dick tomorrow". When I see it after the fact, she just texts me shrugging emoticons back. Etc etc... Fun series, hopefully funny to watch and fun to create.
The point is, I'm trying to vibe a personality onto her that doesn't require me to try and accept her as a real person, and fail to do so. Rather, she'll always be this hot younger girlfriend who's constantly punk'ing me. Seems like it's really important to assign some value to your doll and help her evolve into your idea of her, whatever that is.
Me: "Oh... don't worry. Done, and done!"
And yeah... the idiot in the photo is me.
Oh, and if you're thinking, "Wait a minute... isn't that the moron who started that website, uh doll poker... no, doll uh... boinker? bonker... NO, DollBanger! YEAH, HAHA, THAT idiot!" ...you'd be right.
