Question about eyes

I've been looking at additional WM heads and noticed there are a couple that have closed eyes.

Are these permanently closed or showing you that they can be closed?

The reason I ask is because the order page has an option to choose the eye color.

Closed eye heads have no eyes.

No one sells heads that you can open and close they eyes to my knowledge (though many wish they would), but there are threads on the forums here talking about how to modify dolls to have pose-able eyelids.
