I gave her a good shower and had bought one outfit and washed it twice before hand. I wanted to see how they fit before I got anything else.
I was scared she was going to stink with all the stories I saw about the smell but really the smell wasn't too strong and only smelt like anything you would buy when it is new but I hope this wears off soon.
I ordered her through RLSD and overall had a great experience so I would recommend them.
Moving the doll around is challenging because it is like moving a lifeless body and I am scare I could damage it if I lift on certain areas. Anyone have any tips on moving heavy dolls around?
I have had Anna for 2 days now and at first I didn't think the small was too bad but now it is starting to drive me crazy. I have washed her and had her just laying on a bed for 2 days hoping the smell would dissipate some.

For the first maybe week or so, there was a smell. Now there is nothing - I often fall asleep with my face between her shoulder and neck, so if there was a small, I hope I would notice it.
I do powder her though - I like the extra smooth feeling it gives her - it could be the powder is capturing any volatiles. Could be worth a try. I haven't oiled her yet.

During those two months did you oil her? What about powder frequency? Thank you!!
She has held up really well, the only issues I have had is that the fingers on her left hand have came loose.
I just got through give her a thorough washing and reconditioned her entire body with Nivea Cream.
I have bought a few outfits for over over the past two years but I am a sucker for nylons and just lingerie. The shoes I bought for her day one are still my favorite.
