As I understand, it is not recommended, as the weight of the TPE could cause the skeleton to puncture through or vice versa. It is also not recommended to simply have the doll stand at all for long periods of time.

so, do you mean that TPE dolls can not be stored in vertical position ?
btw, is the head of the new 158 doll detachable ?

WM Dolls don´t recommend vertical storage. Here is topic about storage http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=61545

All heads for 158 cm doll are detachable - screwed on.
