Range of motion in WM dolls...

Greetings all, new member here

. I have a question for anyone that owns a doll from WM. What is the range of motion at the knee joint of these dolls? I read on one post that it is only about 100* or 'horse stance', and I have been unable to find a pic that disproves that. Every 'doggystyle' photo looks like the doll can ''almost'' get there, but not quite. It seems to me this would make 'woman on top' position pretty much impossible (I'm not talking 'cowgirl' position, but the 'straddling' position with her legs tucked in along your sides.) Maybe the manufacturers have limited the knee joint range to help avoid over-compressing this area of the TPE material, but if this is true then it's making me rethink my doll size purchase. For instance, I would love a 163cm, but not if the knee joint has that limited range. Thank you in advance for your input in this matter....

We are not 100% sure what you mean, but the leg/knee can be bent a little more than 90 degrees so that she can kneel, like this, but not further. We recommend you not try to test the limits of the joints before the doll has been used a little, as the joints are very stiff when the doll is new.

Why have you limited the range the dolls not can bent as the women in the picture ?

Thank you WM for clearing this up. Just as I suspected, the man cannot be lying on his back with the doll 'straddling' him, while the doll is lying on top of him. Not sure why you did this but I commend your immediate response. Not knocking your product at all. Just gives me pause to rethink my purchase.

To be honest I wouldn't dare pose a doll upright sitting on her haunches

like this as it puts the whole strain of a heavy doll on some very small hinge components . . .

Yes, thank you. Someone was listening to what I was asking. These pictures definitely clear things up for me. Good bunch of folks on here, always ready to answer questions when the manufacturers don't elaborate.

And that 125cm has the cutest little body, and that is definitely the face that goes with that one. Such a devilish expression

. Dammit....looks like the checkbook balance is going to be a couple grand lower this month. Arrrgh

Xiaoli does it again. I agree, that Karrot's choice of face is the right one. I struggle with deciding on my next doll, but the WM 125 is on my short list.

Yup Xiaoli's beauty was what made my decision, and why I adopted one of her sisters!

Thanks fellas. I didnt have a choice of heads when I bought Xiaoli, I was one of the early adopters and I think the first member to have the 125cm on here and on UKLDF.

What drew me to her was the overall look. I love her face, but it was also the breast size, the hips, and her amazingly pert little bum (yeah, I'm English, we say bum

) the other things that drew me in was her perfectly neat little lady pocket. I'm a little sad that the mold was changed to incorporate more detail, as I prefer the super neat look and never put the insert in.

Nope!

It is intentional, and has been since I started using it, back in 1987 when I first started to get into BBS(s) with my C64.

Eight characters, of course, was the max char limit for both usernames and passwords.

So I've kept the exact same spelling for all these years.
