Hi djcdoll, thanks for the reminder, yes I will give it a watch. No I'm not in this one! They did ask me though but to be fair to the production team they were up front about what they were looking for. They wanted someone to go into intimate detail about what they did and what the sex was like with a synthetic gal. As soon as they mentioned the use of a GoPro camera the penny dropped so I made my polite excuses! Actually the series is quite good (this is episode 4 of the 2nd series), it's an in depth look at all aspects of sexual behaviour in the UK and part of me is frustrated that I couldn't happily take part. As a culture we do need to be a lot more relaxed about our sexuality. In my previous life as a pschy nurse I saw how people can get so screwed up about sex and of course the suppression of sexual behaviour can lead to the dreadful situation within organised religion, so any show that explores sexuality in a grown up way should be welcomed, I just wish I was brave enough to have taken part! Those of us that have had our gals for a few years now can no doubt describe how we adjusted to things and began to really enjoy the experience. A lot of it is about shedding off those preconceptions about what is 'acceptable' and then becoming totally relaxed about sleeping with a doll rather than a RG. I suspect it's easier for someone like me in my (very) late fifties but I still found it very liberating recently when a female friend I've known for years asked me to describe the sexual experience with Sarah. She was genuinely interested and admitted that she found the whole idea a turn on for her, particularly with a female doll and as I had already enjoyed a few beers I happily described how I had enjoyed some wonderful sexual experiences with Sarah (also with Athena last night! Sarah doesn't know yet!). I wonder what brave soul they did find to go on the show, fingers crossed it doesn't come across as too strange, although the other shows have been done in a sympathetic, non judgemental way, so we shall see.

Ah yes, I remember you mentioning the GoPro camera a bit ago!
You never know the willing contributors may already be members of TDF, they may even say something on here once the program has been shown.

I think sex dolls will be a niche/specialist product, at least for the next few years.
The robotic dolls may change that though once the conversational skills of the doll/robot are improved.

The Abyss Harmony robot head is now being released and I think that will be improved greatly over the next few years.
Abyss now have a vaginal insert with a sensor moulded inside that responds to "stimulation" so that Harmony responds (i.e. moans etc.) "in-sync" via the software App.
Yesterday they said that the vaginal sensor could also be used with dolls from other manufacturers too.
They're also working on arms that move, camera's in eyes, body heating, kissing lips, etc.

Walking dolls/robots are probably several years away though, so no Bladerunner Pris or Ex Machina, etc. just yet!

Ha ha, yes, if Sarah could walk and talk I'm not sure what she would make of my behaviour, me saying that 'Athena seduced me' last night, while she stood quietly in the conservatory would not really wash, although I'm convinced she had a 'I want you' glint in her eye as I said goodnight!

Nice idea of a third point of balance.

In the case of the heavier dolls, you can enlarge the base and stand the doll on this base. So you would use the doll's weight to stabilize everything. There's no need to carry a heavier base.

Yes good point there Tsall, this particular base is domed but I've seen flat ones, in fact I've got one on my patio now so I'm sure that would work fine. I just wanted something to use, mainly when using a backdrop and the parasol base idea popped into my head!

Just watched The Sex Business on Channel 5, a few familiar faces, including Brick, with Harmony of course, good Lord has she got a potty mouth! It was actually a balanced look at sex dolls, certainly worth a watch, although my typical english reservation kicked in when a guy demonstrated how he had sex with a doll so I got up and hid across the lounge with Sarah and asked her to tell me when he was done! In some scenes the dolls could definitely have been presented better, lots of wonky eyes and dodgy wigs which was a bit frustrating!

After I managed to coax Keiko off the bed I've just come upstairs to find this gorgeous female has taken up residence in the bedroom! Celeste Elise knows I can't just quickly take her back to her own room and I have a friend coming here for dinner in 30 minutes, what's a guy to do! I'm sure if non doll owners understood the frequent dilemma's like this that we face on a daily basis they would probably be a little more understanding!

Thanks adelea I thought you would appreciate those pics of her lovely pins in stockings! Ok I got a text this morning to say I was getting a parcel delivered today and wasn't quite sure what it could be. So it was a nice surprise to see that all too familiar box being taken out of the truck, yes my new WM158G was here! Thank goodness that Jinsan have improved their packaging as the box had clearly been on end, more than once but the form fitting insert and use of plywood at both ends seems to have prevented any damage. UK border force had opened up the box too but don't seem to have disturbed the contents. I won't go into too much detail here right now as I just wanted to say that Valeris now has her own body and then post a few phone pics so folk can see what this rare body is like.
Ok a few quick stats: with head she stands spot on 158cm so just a tad over 5' 2", those all important measurements are: 36", 23", 38". She has a beautiful hour glass figure that immediately put me in mind of the YL148D but obviously taller with significantly bigger boobs! Ok the thing that I know most of you want to hear about....the weight, sorry guys I haven't got her on my scales yet but I can say with a degree of certainty that she is much closer to Celeste Elise (my 44.5kg OR167G), carrying the body upstairs felt much more like how it feels with Celeste so if I had to guess I would say you don't get much change out of 40kg. So she will need a little more careful handling, my 2 WM166C's have completely spoiled me in that regard! Some things I noticed when unpacking: I can see evidence of skin texturing again and will try and capture that with my Nikon later, also she has the most exquisite hands! Still the old finger wires of course but these hands really are the best I've seen so far on a tpe doll, they are actually about the same size as mine (I've got fairly small hands for a guy) and the fingers have a nice thickness to them. Speaking of thickness, all limbs are realistic in terms of thickness and, praise the tpe god's, she has a shed load of tpe on both elbows! All the joints move well, with no stiffness or creaking and only a faint tpe odour. Right, let's post some pics, sorry these are just using my Blackberry, will get some better ones done in the coming days...
