OMG...Arthur, its a good thing everyone in your house doesn't want to use the bathroom at once in the mornings lol. you'd never get in there

Because of her glowing green eyes I thought about Selene from Underworld. But Selene has light blue eys and black hair, so it doesn't match. And this cut face doesn't look like a vampire.

The name Astrid sounds good.

Ha ha, thank goodness my gals don't need to pee as often as me! Although juggling all their bath and oil days is getting more interesting, I'm so grateful that the newer tpe doesn't need such frequent maintenance!

I see what you mean about Selene (that would have been a good name as well!) I'm getting a lot of positive reactions to keeping her as Astrid so I think it's going to stick. I looked it up and it has Norse/Viking origin's and means divine beauty, so is probably quite appropriate!

Working off a maintenance cycle of 6 to 8 weeks for each doll, it looks like you'll be washing, oiling and talcing one of your girls each week.

You'll have to double up and wash 2 or 3 girls at the same time so you can have a couple of weeks off, ha ha.

You'd better not get anymore girls otherwise we'll never hear from you again as you'll be in a permanent wash cycle!!

Ha ha actually it's funny djcdoll as there are days that I feel like I'm back at work, which is fine as I enjoyed my job back in the old days. I worked as a nurse in psychiatry for around 34 years so I'm used to lugging people about with mobility problems and washing them etc. The only difference here is that I'm not getting shouted at while I'm doing it!

I just had a thought, if I get another 8 dolls then I would have the equivalent of a ward full, I can then dig out my old uniform! I suspect that would probably be a step too far for my kids though and I could soon find myself back at work for real but this time as a patient!

I don't think registering as a "full time carer" for your girls would work with the council either.
Maybe you should advertise for a "Doll Maintenance Operative" that can come in a couple of times a week, ha ha.

Some of you may know that I'm currently involved in a rather interesting project working with a TV production company making a documentary that is looking at the world of doll ownership. Today was a long day of filming about my home looking at all my gals and at one point we got them outside to film them all together. Because of the sun we were left with squeezing them into one corner of my patio for light balance. So here's a few pics of mine, where for the first time all 7 are together. Its not particularly great posing as it turned out to be a real challenge! But here they are!...

Looks like you're having a nice garden party and the girls are waiting for you to bring out the food and drinks.

Seriously it looks like hard work to get them all out in the garden and posed safely.

Thanks, yes I think Athena fancies her chances at being queen of the harem but that's still very much Sarah's job!

Yes, I must admit that I was slightly out of my comfort zone as things were being dictated more by the film crew. I was a bit nervous for the standing gals and made sure they were well balanced before walking away. I must try and get a screen shot of me with them, I only remembered at the last minute to grab my own camera and take a few pics!, After they were all back inside I had worked up quite a sweat!

Was it difficult to put her in that position? Probably not, with moving around that whole harem you probably look more buffed then Schwarzenegger.
