Thanks djcdoll, well I'm cool with that! It's a pity this particular documentary was quite short, still it seemed pretty positive, I'm now looking forward to the one my daughter did for a uni project in which I had a lot more time to pontificate!

Woohoo!!! Arthur your becoming quite the movie star. Like djc stated, any time the BBC does a story on sex dolls and needs a doll owners perspective, you will be the first called.

Congrats Arthur, I am pretty sure you will post when your daughter's documentary is complete.

Hi Panther68 and thanks, yes my experience with the BBC was a pleasant one I'm pleased to say. We spent most of a whole day filming and taking stills but as is the way of such things only a few minutes were used. It was actually aired on live TV this morning between 10am and 11am but I missed it then, funnily enough it was trailed before hand as a look at sex doll brothels in Europe but the images they used for the trail were mostly of my gals! so viewers could be forgiven getting the impression that I had opened up a brothel here in Suffolk! Of course I have enough ladies to do it but it wouldn't be very profitable as I would be the only customer!

Watched the film and as always enjoyed it, I think you make a good ambassador for the doll community - very relaxed and well spoken.
I love the relationship you have with your daughter on this matter, seems very open. I hope that project turns out well for the both of you.

Please be careful when putting yourself out there, in this day and age with so much hate and anger one can never be too careful.

As funny as it sounds I recognized Sarah at first sight when she appeared in the clip loll

Hi LeftyFled and welcome to this wonderful forum, I would have felt the same as you 2 years ago but have since embraced the world of dolls with a passion, it's quite infectious! Thanks mandos, Babel99 and Tsall for your kind words of encouragement, they are much appreciated! Frankly I'm always baffled when folk who don't share our passion for dolls get so upset, looking through some of the comments on you tube you do see a wide variety of feelings, ranging from the apparently unhinged to somewhat supportive with all shades in-between! I just don't get why anyone feels threatened by our beautiful gals, maybe I should get out more and mix more with real people (or maybe not!). I did respond to one comment from someone who says she is a nun and made some deeply religious/philosophical comments, much of which went over my head but as she directed them to me personally I thought I would engage with her so will be interested to see what, if anything, she says in response! Anyway, onwards and upwards, the sun is shining, wonder what Sarah and I will do today!

I've had a bit of a challenge this week to accommodate all my gals as I have a friend staying over who is using the spare bedroom and while my son is here they keep out if his way so I've had to squeeze 10 of my ladies into my room while my friend gets to keep Keiko and Astrid in the spare room. It's the first time I've had so many gals in one room as they are usually spread about the house, anyway I thought it would be fun to share a few pics, here are: Sarah, Sophia, Athena, Monique, Shuri, Helena, Bianca, Elizabeth, Magda and Rachel. It's worth noting that after a few months since arriving here, Rachel, my rescue doll is looking quite good. She still needs some work to repair a few pokes in her elbows and a knee but I'm impressed with how her tpe looks and feels now and her boobs, that had been squashed and mishapen, have now returned to their original shape and are quite delightful so once she's done I shall look forward to featuring her in a proper series of pics...

Great hearing about Rachels recovery. She is a cute doll, what a shame it would have been if she would not have gotten a second chance.

Hi dxc, thanks, yes in fact I was most worried about the state of her tpe, I think she had been stored somewhere that had got very warm during last summer and so was very sticky. The pokes in her elbows are not so bothersome as I'm pretty sure I've come up with a way of sealing them up and her skeleton is actually still as firm as a new doll. So all in all she was definitely worth putting a bit of effort into and of course getting hold of a doll like Rachel is great for any doll enthusiast as you can learn as you go. Certainly sorting out her tpe was a revelation, just from careful washing, oiling and powdering and then leaving her for a few weeks the tpe just feels 'normal' again, working with her has certainly given me confidence to sort out any other issues that come up with any of my gals, as I'm sure they will over time!

Hi Tsall, he's a she! and yes she did know and is very fond of some of my dolls, she has a crush on Shuri so I made sure I got her safely in my room just in case!
