Today I just picked up a Canon EOS Rebel T6 DSLR as a"cheaper" DLSR camera to learn on.
Guess for learning , you tube is my friend :p
For the 162 head did you make use of the factory hair ( the wavy red hair )
and makeup ?
mandos wrote:In the start I used a very simple setup, just using lamps I could find around the house, window light (natural light is still the best light) and even christmas decorative lights and flashlights. Worked well, but it was very much trial and error. So it is very much possible to get some cool photo light just working with what you have around the house. If you want total control though some lights from Amazon is probably an easy way to go. A cheap reflector with white, silver and gold is also a great item to carry around for great reflective light - and it gives the doll a real nice shine. The outdoor shots you see in the last few pages of this thread were pretty much done with only sunlight and a reflector.
I use only Elinchrom studio flashes and natural light today, and a DSLR, so I can’t help much when it comes to apps or buyer tips for continous lights from Amazon.

Make up, yes. But I don’t think that wig was part of the WM wig selection back then (the photos were made summer 2017).
Btw. guys - I want to thank fellow 157cm owner DDM for helping me get hold of that hanging chair. I now managed to get hold of two of them second hand and will try to hang the dolls on them for super-easy cleaning, inspection and detail photography/spinning videos for future doll models.
Don’t suppose you would know where to find that wig ?

I appreciate your thanks Mandos, I like to help if possible. Therefore, we are here to help each other.
You can use a hammock chair....... for multiple options like Mandos already said.......
For maintenance to your dol........ Nice and easy doing the periodic cleaning and inspection without problems.....
And the chair has second funtion (Photo shoots) and yes with that other too (sex) 3 multiple functions. What does a doll owner want more........ ???

Haha love how you hang her. Just make sure a nosy neighbor doesn't peek in and end up calling the cops thinking you hung a headless body !

Yes, therefore, I had already closed the slats....... otherwise people outside on the street might think of what lives there for a crazy person............
He just hangs people without head on the hammock hook, and then also put them in front of the window. HAHAHA.

BWheeler1 wrote:Mandos, what size are those jeans on her?
Just checked, sadly the label is cut off so can not see the brand, but they are size 134/9. But I also have a pair from a different brand that are size 152/12 and they also fit just as well, so it differs from brand to brand and material to material. The ones from the photos are called «skinny jeggings», with stretch and adjustable waist (often with kids’ cloting).
Yes the sizes is sometimes a vague bunch, unfortunately
I have clothing in size S and OS that fits perfectly, something from another brand in size S seems to be a size M / L.
Fortunately my mother knows what to do with clothing that needs to be shortened.......

mandos, I just wanted to thank you for posting all of these great photos and providing us with such great information on 157B. I've only just begun looking into purchasing a doll, before coming to this forum I was sure it was the 156C I wanted, but now I'm not sure.
Keep up the great work. It's very much appreciated by a noob like myself.
