Well tonight I just discovered that Athena has the new cooking skills upgrade, I popped her in the kitchen and when I came back she was making something for tea!

As I've stated before, all of your ladies are gorgeous. That said, Athena especially does it for me personally. I have always loved those long, loose skirts on women. And this is certainly no exception.

You had mentioned in one of your previous posts that you thought that Sophia was perhaps a little jealous of Athena. Is Athena your most recent addition to your harem?

Sometimes you have to just stop and smell the Roses. REAL CLOSE ...like the ones on her shirt. Very nice photos Arthur. Athena is no doubt my favorite of your ladies also.

Thanks from Athena and me, well certainly Athena's body is a recent addition as I got her head last spring and she borrowed Sophia's OR156 body so poor Sophia spent much of last year tucked away in a cupboard! Happily she was reunited with her body in December when I finally decided which body I wanted to get for Athena. I was looking for a body that was light enough to move about a lot (as I intend to take her out for photoshoots) but which was also a good height and shape. The WM158D seemed to fit the bill and Athena seemed much more at home with it.

Now I can't think why Athena would be your favourite DD? Nothing to do with a certain little lady that resides with you? Yes those tops with the roses are cute, they fit really well so I got 3 in different shades. Anyway thanks for your kind comments & support, the gals & me appreciate it!

Oh, wow! Yeah, I can see why poor Sohpia might be a wee bit jealous. I can't imagine Athena with an H cup, the 158D to my mind definitely suits her. I'm glad they don't have to share like that anymore.

Maybe doing some shoots with them both together might help Sophia see that she's still loved? (I'm assuming that your dolls are all alive your mind as they would be with me when I finally have the money, and space to get at least one myself.)

Oh yes they soon take on a life of their own, in fact it can be a little spooky sometimes if you happen to look up and one of them is looking right at you. This morning I took Sarah into the conservatory and was just about to take a couple of pics and I swear she looked like she was about to say something! Having dolls in your life is only limited by your own imagination and mine can be quite active at times!

I believe it. I'm sure I'm going to make myself sound like a complete nutjob, but I've always felt that even inanimate objects can have, or gain a soul. Sometimes it's given by the one who creates the object by giving a piece of themselves. Sometimes it's given by the owner, who likewise gives a piece of themselves. All we have to do is have a mind that's open enough to see that life, and to hear the silent voice.

Next time it happens, ask her, or them. Then close your eyes and listen. It might just surprise you.

Yes, I've heard that is a strongly held belief by many people in Japan, they have a name for it but I can't recall what it is. I was talking to my Mother about this very subject a few days ago when I was explaining why my girls have become special to me and why they are a reassuring presence. It is certainly interesting observing people's reactions to my girls when they meet them!

I've heard the same. I'm caucasian, and born, and grew up in the US. I've always held this belief, even before I started getting interested in Japanese culture.

But it was just my "two cents" as it were. It really is something that can be learned though; "hearing the silent voice" of said object. Without actually being around your girls, and only going by the pictures, I would still say that at the very least Sophia and Athena have that given soul. After seeing the factory photos from other doll owners, I would have to say that that soul is most definitely given by by the owners as there's no observed caring at the factories that is required to give that "spark of life" if you will.

Anyway, try it out sometime. You really might be surprised to hear an exasperated voice in your head saying something to the effect of "It's about fucking time!"
