Shuri arrived this afternoon after what turned out to be a fairly swift journey from China to the UK. She seems to have had an uneventful trip as a first inspection found no problems. I can already tell that she is going to be a firm favourite, she has the new, improved skeleton with shrugging shoulders and jointed neck, so no more goose neck creak! The WM157 really is a work of art, obviously a slender body but still a decent height with a nice thickness to her limbs. The WM64 (Nava) head is even prettier in the flesh and her skin tone looks perfect. The tpe doesn't feel tacky but has that new fruity smell that isn't overpowering. All her joints feel just right and she stands like a pro! I've already given her some wide washers on her foot bolts and she's had her first proper wash, no baby oil as she doesn't need it yet. Whilst I wanted to acknowledge the inspiration for her creation by naming her after the delightful Shuri from Black Panther I also wanted to name her after one of my first TV crushes, Uhura, so Shuri Uhura it is! 2 strong, intelligent female characters from my favourite genre. I hadn't been able to get her dressed till this evening so light was poor but I just had to share a couple of pics for now, so here she is, a most welcome addition to my lovely harem...

Thanks kambui, I left it a bit late to get any decent photos but hopefully tomorrow we will get a sunny day, I'm already looking on eBay for suitable clothing, it's all going to have to be xxs size but I've got some stretch stuff that should be ok. She has the cutest hands with lovely detail!

Thanks, she's destined for some nice outdoor photoshoots, just need some good weather here in the UK, can't wait to get her in front of my camera!

I shall do my best to make her smile but I suspect I will probably just get a frown!
Actually that very first photo I took when she came out of her box she does look like she has a bit of a smile, perhaps that went when she realised where she had ended up! You can get slight variations of expression if you play around with the lighting so hopefully she won't always look too serious.

Thanks mandos, don't worry I have plans for this lady! It was your own stunning pics of the WM157B that got me thinking and she is indeed a perfect model in so many ways, poses really well, good height yet still a nice weight, lovely slender body. I can see getting good fitting clothing will be a challenge but I have some stretchy sports stuff that should work well and she won't always need much on anyway!
