WM148 is under appreciated

A member asked for my help in photographing his lady in order to sell her. viewtopic.php?f=128&t=99147

In my opinon this doll is a charmer, and for a small doll of lower weight and easier to store, she's convincingly adult despite her smaller size, and neglected.

I very rarely enthuse about dolls under 155 but the 148 is truly impressive. Compared to dolls from other factories, she's beautifully soft and her joints are very evenly adjusted, a joy to work with.

She's a delectable morsel, but are you sure she is a WM - there is no 148 cm on their website?

That's a YL148 not a WM148, which doesn't exist

She's the softest doll I own, and her backside is the best in the business, in my opinion!

Thanks for pointing that out. The member who asked me to help him said she was a 148 but perhaps it's my memory. She's got all the characteristics of a genuine Jinsan factory doll. I'm wondering now what she's likely to be.

YL148? Possibly - but I was told that she was a WM

So somewhere the original owner and I have wires crossed. I've not before had a YL brand in front of me, although if she is YL I can see why people enthuse about their sculpture.

If we have confirmation of this I'll have to ask mods to edit the title and move to YL.

Her torso is very nearly the same height from sitting position to breasts and neck as another factory's 165.

Yeah, absolutely! - Definitely a legendary YL148

Yes she is a YL148 for sure

That body is still one of the most good looking one, even if it's an older model. A classic.

Jael (my doll) is a YL148 and I never had any regrets in picking up that model. Even after 2 years, I still surprised myself looking at her mouth half open ...stunned in disbelief how good she looks.

I almost bought one of these before I bought Quinn. Someone had a beat up one for sale on TDF. They are a pretty doll done up. I think I could have repaired her damage for photo shoots. I really needed the 5' height for the photos I wanted to take and got a 155. 148 is pretty close and a really great looking doll.

This is now confirmed as the YL148 with Kassandra head.

Whichever brand she is, she's underappreciated.

Actually HaremLover, the YL 148 was one of the most popular doll 2-3 years ago. So she had her glory

The reason why we are not seeing her as much as we used to is because tons of new models appeared on the market and Jinsan is not the company that came with the most innovation. So the sales went down on her I guess...

This half open mouth shot of yours Babe ... TOO Much. And I love the closed eyes, again exactly what I would like. I'd make room for her any day. Do they still make them ?

Yes - I can see exactly why there was enthusiasm for this lady and Jinsan are not to be criticised for not bringing out many new models. Why try to replace what is perfect already? This is a problem also for OR. It's vital that these dolls are photographed and kept in the limelight.

The newer sculptures have todied only to exaggerated sexualisation, but this model remains both a work of art and queen of her class.

While any Jinsan doll is still far from being "perfect" overall, I'd see this special model produced with nowadays technologie like ball joint skeleton, hinged wrists / neck, quick head connector, TPE formula and maybe upscaled a little bit becoming a real big seller again, making THE comeback

I answered your question in Jael's thread but I will here also for the other members. Yeah the YL 148 is still produced. Mostly all vendors can get her but you can contact Eric at YLDoll directly (he is the yourdoll user).
