Thanks Wight. I have entered into manual mode on my camera as so many have suggested, but I am still fascinated with the use of light. Single source , low light can get some dramatic results. But I still have so much to learn.

Thank you Newbie98, I get lucky with my photos now and then. I am early in my effort to learn photography basics. I just take 80 pictures and 1 or 2 end up being presentable. I hope to improve on that ratio as my skills improve.

Absolutely the low light goes a long way. Leonardo da Vinci got so deep with it, he called the method "Sfumato" -twilight. It brings the woman's inner mind to the pic. (I still don't understand why Leonardo is nowadays depicted as a homo. His women are vivid like just a few in art. Picasso got close - good luck calling him gay! Sorry about rant.)
Haha don't expect the success photo ratio to change much. I take 100, and 3 are through. Even most professional photographers work that way too.

No offense taken Wight. The cultural script has flipped for LGBTQ folks in a very positive way. I think it is great that people can be who they are openly. My brother is gay and I love him till the end, just a great guy. I welcome the new era of openness for all.
But I see what you mean about words getting tangled. It is still a minefield to discuss the topic as some people may misinterpret things as being derogatory or demeaning.

Gonestill, I picked those up on EBay. They start at size zero (Kids). Maddie is wearing size one. They have a few different styles of heels that goes down to that size.
Great job, as usual, in portraying Maddie in a very flattering manner. With digital cameras (I am assuming that`s what you have) and big SD cards why not just click away hoping for those 1 or 2 really killer shots. That`s what I do too try as many different angles and such and snap away. Still learning the capabilities of my camera every day. makes you feel like a real photographer too.
