OR 156H cup perfect or to heavy?

Post by mcidcbcmd »

Hey all. I’m really looking at the 156H cup OR doll, for me at 72lbs with those curves she seems perfect! But I’ve been getting mixed reviews on her weight? Websites are saying 68-72lbs. With the head on can someone tell me her actual weight? I’m in great shape but don’t want a huge girl. I own a YL118cm (65lbs) I can handle her no problem but her height is why I’m looking for a a curvy taller doll.. enter the OR. If the weight is high I’m going to get a YL 140.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there, yeah I've got an OR156H and can confirm that she's just a tad over 33kg with the head. I would imagine that if you went for the gel filled breast option that might add a little. Personally if I were to get another I would go for the gel although I suspect that H cup is at the top end of viability for the gel option. I have a G cup gal here and the gel does make them a little larger. So in fact I wouldn't be surprised if an OR156G would turn out to be an H cup with the gel option. Hope that's of some help.

Ok, yes that helps a ton! I’m just deciding in weight vs height right now, lol. I like the YL 140 N cup but am afraid she will be to short like my 118cm YL... the OR weighs about 10 more pounds than the YL but is taller and more realistic with height... choices! Lol. Let me know what you think of the OR 156 if you can, thanks

Well I'm certainly a fan of the OR156H. I've had mine for over 4 years now, she's called Sophia and has her own thread but I've attached a few pics to give you an idea. She stands at around 5' 1" as I recall and as I do a shed load of photography with my dolls her 33kgs is much kinder on my back! My gal doesn't actually have standing feet but she does stand quite well for a few hours in certain shoes I have but if I got another 156H I would definitely get the standing feet but as Sophia was my 2nd doll I was still a little green and didn't appreciate just what a huge benefit those little bolts are in the foot! Sophia's boobs must be hollow but not very as they have a solid feel however I'd love to have this bod with the gel option!

She’s a real beauty, I feel like this doll is the perfect balance on all sides, curvy, taller, and a balanced manageable weight! Other than standing feet, would you do anything different? Gel breasts? Thoughts?

Yeah, definitely gel breast but then I would ask for the 156G version as the gel makes them bigger anyway. I think there is still an issue with gel in the much bigger cup sizes. It could well be that the H cup would be fine as the Jinsan factory seem to have fixed the earlier teething problems with the gel and provided you ensure your gal is wearing a good fitting bra then it should be ok. So yeah, an OR 156 with enhanced skeleton, standing feet and gel filled breasts would be pretty cool!

She's one of the classics of the doll world and underappreciated

I am still a newbie but I would like to contribute some ideas. If the weight of 72 to 75lb is manageable, go for the 156H cup OR doll. As you already have a YL118 then why settle for a YL140 (about 6" shorter than the 156H)? The realistic height is a must (speaking for myself) for either using the doll as a model for photo shoots or for pleasure. I have a 157 Jarliet and the weight is about 75lb and I am quite comfortable in moving her around and happy that she feels like a life size model/mate to me. Would love to know your final decision.
