Can you put those eyebrow wigs to a silicone head? What kind of adhesive should be used to not damage the head?

Yes.
The glue I used is eyelash glue that was shipped with the wigs.
I can pull the wigs off easily when I need to readjust without any problems on the TPE. :)
Do not use super glue! The glue I used is really weak.
Any other "weak" glue will do great.
You will more than likely get glue with the wigs.

My current project is blending the wigs into the skin with foundation. Hopefully they will look better over time.

Good to know that the included adhesive is ok. I think real hair would bring some realism, as long as the lace pattern can be hidden away nicely.

For stencil use, I just dip my finger tip
in the powder and give a quick wipe. Two per brow. Very quick for that level of realism.

Alternatively you could punch your own using stencil templates to outline the area first then punch the individual hairs for more semi permanent realism. :)

Supplies used for the hair punching: TOTAL COST FOR ALLOT OF MATERIALS = $30 and some of your time. (ITS WORTH IT)

HAIR: (it comes in allot of different colors and is very fine and soft to the touch! the most expensive one is $15.)

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NGZHWUC/re ... =UTF8&th=1

PUNCHING TOOL: (Comes in a multipack kit for only $9)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V5 ... UTF8&psc=1

More expensive (yet more precise version): $38

https://www.brickintheyard.com/products/needles

SCISSORS: (Any will do) I used $5 nail scissors. (The slight curve as well as the short blades allows for more fine tune trimming of angles and individual hairs.)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CF ... =UTF8&th=1

Videos to watch: (The key to it all is the way you hold the hair while pushing it into the silicone as well as the angle of the needle as it goes into the target material. The angle of the needle decides what direction the hair leans out of the skin when its inserted and the way you hold the hair is what makes grabbing the hairs easier.

USE THE SMALLEST NEEDLE FOR BROWS AND FINE DETAIL WORK.

THIN EYEBROWS GUIDE:

Create fewer hairs in thin Zone.

Thinner hair zones are Created with few strokes/punches in the thin zone areas with your preferred application tools and medium.

Create more hairs in thicker Zone.

Thicker hair zones are Created with more strokes/punches in the thicker zone areas with your preferred application tools and medium.
.
*If punching hairs try to work with the bend of the face/brow and angle your needle so that the hair goes into the skin at such an angle that it lays against the face instead of sticking straight up. (Be careful not to punch back through the eyebrow though.)

I have tried punching hair in TPE, maybe I was doing something wrong, as I could never get it to hold very well. It would literally slide right out.

hmm, well the test piece in the picture (face portion above) was cast in ecoflex 30 silicone. Its allot denser than tpe I've noticed the TPE is squishy and softer by far. And the only TPE I have access to at the moment is a sample piece. I just did a quick test on that and the hair stayed when I brushed my finger over it both in full strands and trimmed up. I went in at an angle as I did it. Then I was able to pull it out with my fingers afterwards. I guess it depends on the amount of force etc put on them. Also how deep you seat the hairs. Did you use felting needles or the punching needles sold by FX shops? I haven't used those yet but I plan on buying some. They seem to offer even more control and precision placement of hairs than the felting needles do as the tip is the grab point.

I actually used a very small sewing needle that I cut and made a punching needle with. I was pushing the hairs in about 1". I went in at a pretty good angle as I wanted to duplicate eyebrows. But I just could not get them to the point where I felt that they would last very long. I have done it in silicone and it worked fairly well, even with a home made needle! But TPE just doesn't seem to be able to hold onto it like silicone does! Or at least I haven't had any luck with it! So I elected to do the next best thing and use eyebrow wigs, I have never looked back! Then the next best solution after that is BodyColor!

i see :) Yea i ordered a couple pair of those to test out too but i didn't order the cardani ones i order some off amazon. They look alright but i rubbed my finger across the wigs to test the softness and the wig hair i used to punch with was softer to the touch imo. i don't have the head i ordered yet to see how they will look. Out of curiosity what kind of glue do you use? is it TPE safe? And can the lace be trimmed away on the edges so its not as noticeable or will that destroy the brows? Are the brows reglue-able/reusable? the ones i ordered came with glue but as they are made for humans idk if the glue is TPE safe.

Here are the wigs i ordered. They must come from the UK as they came by royal mail and took almost a month to get to the usa:

https://www.amazon.com/Pretty-Loxx-Huma ... yebrow+wig

i ordered the 12 and 16.

Heres a pic of what they look like " RL"/delivered. (looks like some of the hairs are already come out.

Mine aren't Cardani either, mine came from eyebrowz.com but, if I ever bought more, they would be Cardani. You can trim them as you like. I originally used the glue that came with them, but it would only hold for a short time. I ended up using a gel super glue. Now they are permanent, which is what I wanted.
