Shoulder repair

Had to do a challenging shoulder repair on a doll recently.
The tension nut came loose and the only way to tighten it was to drill a hole in the shoulder tube and bind it so I could tighten it using the arm itself. Then applying retaining compound to the nut without getting any into the joint itself.
Sounds easy, but it really wasn’t.
Nothing like some experience sprinkled on top!
Worked out very well!
Joint tension is identical to the other side and holding very well.
