Greetings from someone that's finally waking up

Post by jaidee »

Hello fellow TDF members. Thank you for allowing me to become part of the community. I am a true Newb and have yet to obtain my first doll/ lover/companion. I came across this site the other day and am so very thankful that I did since I've been bidding on dolls on Ebay not realizing that there are knockoffs galore on there and would have more than likely been shafted by buying an inferior doll. I've got a lot to learn and will be happy when I can tell a good deal when I see it. I would like to start off with a lower priced doll just to get familiar with the aspects of proper handling and so forth prior to moving up to a higher quality, pricier one. But on the other hand, I don't want to waste my money on a piece of junk. I'm wondering if there is a section on the topic of recommended starter dolls (new only) and welcome personal recommendations . Thank you and look forward to learning and participating.

People suggest 140cm is good starter doll in size. Some people suggest even lower, but that is a matter of personal preference. I for one would never go below 140cm (except 130cm PiperDoll haha) because I do not view the doll as "miniaturized adult" but a midget and they don't turn me on! :P

Look out in sales section after "cancelled orders" where vendors and/or manufacturers sell dolls for cheaper prices that they were supposed to sell but customers cancelled orders. I got my first doll that way. She was already manufactured so just 2 weeks shipping and all done! :D

Look at it this way: it is a gamble, like in casino. Either you throw away 1000$ (dolls aren't for you) or you invested amazingly with your 1000$ (dolls are for you). Either way, it is a very exciting experience at first however it turns out in the long run! ;)

Thank you curiousswede! I've contemplated the smaller ones but am leary, not wanting a knock on the door from big brother. I've been reading member info on knockoffs such a Racyme and may possibly take a chance on one of these. I will also take your advise and keep an eye out on the canceled orders. Like you said, it's a gamble...and yes, I am excited. :)

Welcome jaidee!

Wow, you found TDF just in the nick of time, WTG!

I went with different strategy for my first doll and went with a more expensive, but easier to care for silicone doll. I'm really glad I did too. (I knew I'd love owning a doll tho) Some of the TPE maintenance procedures sound like far more effort, and also the durability of the silicone has been awesome.

My 2nd one is a new Sanhui 158 and she only weighs 65lbs! Super easy to move around, vs my 2017 Sanhui 156 @ 75lbs. The new Sanhui's have much softer silicone too, possibly comparable to TPE.

Good luck. Happy hunting. Ask lots of questions.

Thank you Forb! I like and appreciate the route that you've taken. I checked out the Sanhui site and they are gorgeous! When I think about all of the money wasted on dead-end dates, one of these always willing ladies could be mine. Thanks for the lesson.

So completely true. The dating scene is really awful anymore, especially now that I'm not in my 20's.
I use dolls to bring my fantasy girls into 3D! <3

IMO. if you do not want to waste your good earned money on a cheap knockoff doll like Alibaba,Ebay,Amazon etc. and want to have a good first time experience as a first time owner, Buy a AS or a SM doll from a TDF vendor.
They are cheaper than the top end of dolls but they are also soooooo yummy, Especially the SM.
I've seen SM doll. the makeup and facial attribute is amazing.

There are also plush/ fabric dolls too. You won't find many used though as people tend to keep their's as they are that nice to have.
Going downtown. Gonna see my gal. Gonna sing her a song. I'm gonna show her my ding dong! C&C

Get a full size TPE or silicone doll - the size and shape you'd want your girlfriend to be. Study the options on this forum before making any financial decisions. Determine what a doll of your specs will weigh, and if that's too much, go smaller. Too small gets weird, especially if they look young, at least they do to me. Too cheap probably won't get the job done. Weigh your options carefully before making any decisions you may later regret.

Seriously, I was a newb not so long ago (May). I bought the doll of my dream and I have no regret. You will have a learning cure, but instead of buying something to 'try it out', just buy the girl you want. Much better.
Dolls are awesome ! :glou:
