Hello everybody. I recently joined mainly because of the mannequin subforum. I've been curious about mannequins for quite some time now. For many years, in fact. I work in a shopping center and I must admit they catch my eye very easily (not the abstract ones, though). I've considered Real Dolls but I'm too poor to go that way. So, after giving it some thoughts, I just decided, after years and years of solitary life without real hope of finding the right female companion, to finally try something else. I ordered a beautiful mannequin online last week and will probably receive her very soon. As I love fashion, she will be spoiled a lot (within my budget limit of course). Shopping for her will be quite a pleasure. I've already ordered a few nice clothes and accessories and when I'll be able to create the right look, I'll introduce her to you guys.

Hi CatwalkCat and welcome. Your English is excellent, no apologies are necessary.
I bet you have had great time with the shopping you have already done. I find the buying things, clothes, shoes, jewelry, whatever, one of the best things about having a doll. Of course trying them on her is even better and, if I can be a bit naughty, taking some of them off again is best of all!
