I ordered my first doll!

So far I have had a very good experience with RLSD.
I placed an order for the 163 cm H-cup Miranda model, as is with all of the added features (shrugging shoulders, removable insert, enhanced mouth, standing feet). I had trouble figuring out the bank transfer pay method because the people at my bank couldn't fathom not using zelle to pay someone. I contacted customer support and they said they could send me a paypal invoice.
Paypal wanted to give me issues too, so I made a new order for the same doll and payed directly to their site with my credit card.

The payment went through no issues. I contacted customer support and asked if they could cancel my old order.
They responded the next morning saying it was canceled.
I got an email update a couple minutes later saying my new order was processed and is now in production!!!

I know I got a pretty popular model so I'm not really expecting it to get here in 3 weeks. (Although Im totally hoping it does and I'm checking my email every 5 seconds).

I've read up a lot on maintenance and care and here is what i have so far:

Mineral oil
Vaseline
Cornstarch/Baby Powder
Socks/gloves for finger/toe wires
No dyes in clothing
No tight clothing
Water based lube
Clean when you get it
Never leave wet
Heavy AF (i can't wait to get weighed down in bed!!)
Avoid sharps
Dont get water in neck, head neck hole, or holes in feet
Mold is a thing
Wire necks are a thing

That's all I can think of atm.
I'll post factory pictures when (if?) I get them. Im not sure if they send them to every customer, but if they DO i'll make sure to post them here.

Ok. I just sent them an inquiry about factory photos.

I'm probably going to need a bed protector for all of the oil that is going to be drenching our bodies.

Hi atallisa! Thank you for choosing RLSD! Here are our official responses to your list. Most are great, but we have a few clarifications for you as well.

Washing her upon receipt is not required. WM Dolls thoroughly washes every doll after production and before powder. However, some people still prefer to wash her anyway.

If you do wash her upon receipt, drying her thoroughly and applying the RLSD Premium Renewal Powder (or powder of your choice) is ALL that is needed. RLSD's Premium Renewal Powder is the best powder you can get, but some people use the old standby, cornstarch. Talc powder is never recommended because of its relation to cervical cancer in women (on the chance a woman would be using).

Putting Mineral oil all over a new doll is definitely NOT required nor recommended by us or WM Doll. The doll has plenty of oil as she is.

In addition, mineral oil will remove any body and face makeup it touches, leaving you with a washed out plain looking doll. The makeup artists take great care in making your doll the most beautiful they can, and it would be such a shame to remove it all simply because of this very unnecessary oiling trend that caught popularity on TDF.

Not sure what you mean by 'wire necks are a thing". The dolls neck is not made of wire and is in fact very strong. Dolls hang by the neck at the factory, in the RLSD shop, and with the RLSD Closet Bar Suspension (CBS) Kit, with never a single issue in our of our years.

Even with the standing foot, the doll CAN be put in a bath. Water will not get inside the doll through the feet. (true, keep neck and head above water)

The oil tip is very helpful. Now I can save some money lol.
TBT...I secretly just wanted the oil for the...umm...slippery factor

And I can't remember where I read about wire necks. It's probably a different type of skeleton or it was more than likely a very old thread and was one of the first skeletons or something.
The understanding of a wire neck that I have is that the neck bolt isn't part of the skeleton but is attached via wires that go through the body. I think this was for bending the necks, but from what I've read, the WM dolls (or the one I got at least) does not have a bending neck.

But it's great getting responses from you guys in email AND the forum. I wasn't expecting a response here lol.

I have a WM168E#74 and I would recommend the following for a "PERFECT FIRST IMPRESSION WITH YOUR NEW LADY FRIEND":

1. Don't watch any porn and don't masturbate any 1 week before you receive her. Don't ask me why, just do this and you will find out during your "honeymoon" why it was worth it all the time staying away from these two otherwise pleasurable things!
