The main thing these people who are taking this survey about what they are willing to pay for a plush doll is there not understand all the work that's going into the Velour Vixen Dolls. It's like there comparing apple's to Oranges. The Teddy Babe dolls are mass Produced, has a cheap wire frame skeleton, uses standard materials, the Anime Plush Dolls are mass Produced, also cheaply made with standard materials. Velour Vixens Dolls are all hand made, have custom made skeleton design, use only high quality materials and you can ask for anything to be built, the sky is the limit when it comes to what Coyote 9 can build for you. You won't find anything else out there that even comes close to the amazing Dolls that Coyote 9 can build. I now own 5 dolls made by Coyote 9. They are all Amazing Custom works of Art. So i feel the price i paid for my dolls are well worth it.

Thanks bigtedybare,
The differences between what I'm making and what others are making is like comparing a Toyota Yaris to a Porsche 918, McLaren P1, or Ferrari La Ferrari.
Any of these cars can get you from point A to point B but a Yaris can't take a corner at over a hundred miles an hour without wrapping it around a tree.
Yes the Yaris is incredibly cheap and reliable.
But Porsche, McLaren, and Ferrari are rolling pieces of art and tech.
Just because YOU cannot afford something doesn't mean it isn't worth the money.

A First PC Doll is a lot cheaper than a Real Doll or a Ruby 13 Doll.
This is because the latter uses better materials and better designs.

My dolls are all about details and functionality.
It takes me a couple of hours just to make a pair of eyes, with embroidery.
A Teddy Babe is printed on a computer printer and laminated with plastic.
This might not seem important to you, but any one with eye for detail, this will stand out.
And for boinking, I'd rather try to do it with a giant marshmallow than a Teddy Babe.
Teddy Babes have no structure, that would make them move, feel, or boinking like a real woman.

No apologies, just the finest doll you plush doll you can find in the whole world.

Try telling the owner of that Porsche, McLaren, or Ferrari that there car isn't worth the money, and I can bet you'll have a fight on your hands.

I agree with everything you guys are saying. The poll was just to give a general idea of the market portion that individual vendors/MFRs are serving.

I have to agree with Coyote9. I've owned 2 teddy babes, a Ruby 13 and a mini love doll. Ruby was the best of the bunch. I am willing to pay $2000 for a quality plush doll.

While pricing your dolls higher might cut you out of some of the market, profit margins might be high enough that a doll that costs $1200 instead of $600 actually makes you more money.

All it would take is the $600 doll costing $500 worth of material/labour to make, and the $1200 doll costing you $900 worth of material/labour to make for the two to break even.

Or $400 and $600 labour/materials.

There is also the fact that the lower end of the market may be saturated, meaning a higher end doll actually makes you stand out more for the segment of the market that wants a very high end plush doll.

And then there is also some people don't really want a huge business they are just doing it themselves and too many orders would be a hassle as they would have to find new people to help run the business, so a few high priced orders work out a lot better then lots of lower priced orders.

Also sometimes the labor in making a high end product is similar to that of a low end product, you just buy more expensive starting materials.

Hey Darkone! I placed my order yesterday for an artic wolf. I know it's going to be a while before I get her. A new Ruby13 will be getting ordered as well.

I am really looking forward to seeing what Velour Vixens does with your arctic wolf doll. She will definitely be unique.
