Hey, I'd really like to, but like I said before, we're half a country apart, and I can't exactly move out west on a whim.

Merry Christmas! I guess that is politically incorrect to say or post... who cares, right? Being a doll lover is taboo anyway.

Hope everyone's having a great start to the new year.

How is this build going? Bodies done? Limbs and extra parts getting made?

Hey, I work as a freelance plush artist and Ive noticed a couple of things about your dolls that you could probably do to make them better, if you're at all interested?

I was also wondering if there was any reason why you prefer to hand stitch everything? Using a machine would speed the process up quite a bit, and most of them have utility stitches that are quite sturdy as options.

Kudos on the hand embroidery too! I did it before but I hated it and got an embroidery machine instead. Much easier that way. Haha.

Most of the dolls are machine sitched. It's the last 10% that is all hand stiched. You cannot machine stitch the legs and arms onto the dolls nor can you shape the butt or breasts.

Welcome to the Forum!

It actually largely depends on the pattern for whether or not you can machine stitch those parts on! Same for the butt and breasts. Actually, I happen to know quite a bit about making patterns (being a plush maker) and how to make round shapes, that is all those parts are, really! Of course some stuff like the teddy bear joints still need to be done by hand. But stationary parts, not so. Not unless it's too small to fit in the machine, I say! Hand sewing is so slow. I avoid it where I can.

Look back in all his previous builds and see where and why he hand stitches.

Also an update would be awesome!

do you sell patterns?

Also start your own post thread .. if you do work for hire and want to post info. pictures, etc. you need to move away from this thread posting .. and welcome to the forum! .. I would suggest the "inventors corner" sub-forum for your own "new topic" posting to introduce yourself and skills .. link; viewforum.php?f=6 .

To add to what r363b has stated: after 5 posts you can send and recieve private messages (aka pm's).

I'd love to see your work.

Is that opening Blacksmith created dropping his anthro wolf still available? How much does a custom job cost? Let's say I want an unusual anthro fox whose image I stumbled upon by accident, and I'd love to see her with some gravity-defying OMG-sized breasts (Is it possible to use something hollow to reduce weight like, say, those cheap inflatable balls sold in Walmart?). Last, but not least, how do you clean those plush inserts after "use?" Do you just place the insert in the washing machine (cold water, gentle cycle?). Serious questions, here, with serious interest.

Picture is below. Doesn't show hands or feet, so I'm just pulling this out of my own imagination, but I'd like her to have plantigrade feet but I'd also like her fingers and toes to be shaped more like the digits you find on paws (still with opposable thumbs for the hands, but have those be "pawlike" as well) than actually humanoid. Maybe even the forearms, lower legs, hands and feet can be oversized / cartoonish? Can't tell if that's her hair swinging to the left or not, but I do like the idea of her having long hair to go with that long fluffy tail.

That doesn't look like an anthro fox to me. I do love the hair though! Thick thighs, big booty and hugh boobies with a super slim waist is the way to go!

Not sure what else she could be, Blacksmith, than some anime-style golden fox; granted, she has more of a humanoid face now that I really look at her. At first I thought she just had a super-simplified snout. Maybe I'm looking with blinders on, but that's what I envision as I look at her. God, help me, but I just WANT that. How much money am I going to need to shell out for this vision I have thundering in my brain? Maybe I can have the area from her lower face to her pubes matching her eye color for contrast?

Under $1800 for your vision, if a slot is still open.

You maybe right, I do see an ear on top of her head. She is some sort of canine. I would like to see you get your doll.

Thanks, Blacksmith, looks like I'll just have to PM Coyote9. PM sent; here's hoping for good news! Damn, she's got this outrageous eroticism coupled with that doting "uberfeminine" look you can only find with anime milfs! I want her so bad my left eye has started twitching and I'm starting to have a hard time typing! As a side note, I think her right ear is flipped down against her bangs, so it's almost camouflaged; I'd rather they both stood straight up.
