I wanted to warn anyone who might be interested in the black thong that I show Marya wearing in many of my pics (from Amazon.com.) As I mentioned in my review it has caused a stain on her back and around her waist. After this first happened, I washed the thong and treated it with Retayne dye fixative but it still seems that some staining is taking place if I leave her in this thong for too long. I think it is ok to use the thong if it's not left on very long and not put on very tight. I have tried a few different solvents but the stain doesn't seem to be on the surface and I didn't notice any transfer of the stain to the cloth I used to apply the solvents. You can see the stain just above the strap in the picture below around Marya's waist. I have noticed that the stains have dissipated quite a bit since it first occurred. From what I've read on various other posts about stains on silicone dolls the stains will eventually go away all on their own, but I'm not so sure. I think now it's probably best not to leave any dark colored clothing on your doll for long time periods, especially if they are tight fitting clothes.

I had this experience with my Sanhui 145 about a year ago. I freaked out at first, but that was just a waste of energy.
It left her in about 2 weeks and her whole back was stained.
Stain....

I have had the same experience with my Sanhui doll ... the discoloration disappears automatically and this in contrast with my DH168 dolls where the discoloration does not disappear

Well, that's good to hear and what I'm hoping for. I kinda re-upped the problem by thinking the dye fixative would put a stop to the black dye of the thong from transferring to her skin but after having her in the same thong again for a day or so I noticed that the stain had gotten worse. So now I will only put her in that thong for short periods of time and keep it looser when I do. The stain does seem to be going away but rather slowly. I'm really surprised that it would go away on its own, and that's another advantage of silicone dolls.

I have forgotten to tell you that I wash my Sanhui doll completely every month and regularly poach with cornstarch.
The latter, however, has no positive effect on my DH168 dolls
