No, He asked why you are still using parts known to be faulty after you 'fixed it a long time ago'.

Why are these parts still being made and used?

If you know they are faulty/weak, why are you putting them into dolls being sent out the door today? Why not just destroy unusable, known to be unsuitable and weak parts?

'Will not break immediately' So breaking 1 month down the line is absolutely OK, so long as its not immediately?

The problem has been exposed and Sanhui aknowledged it and apollogized. Now give them time to correct the situation, wich seems they already started to do by offering a good compensation to the customers who suffered from the wrist problem.

At least wait for the updates after the scheduled chat with Sanhui, that George from XSdoll announced a few posts ago, to see if it's still the case of keep on firing at point blank.

Just my 2c...

Some of these doll vendors seem to rely a lot on "Whoops!" as a reason (excuse) for an unacceptable failure rate.
We buy these dolls sight unseen and take it on faith that they are being straight with us.
Apparently the lower end manufacturers are more interested in moving product than delivering quality.

It really gives one pause to wonder if you will really be saving money with a less expensive doll.
It just might be better to save up $6k for something that will last!

What I mean "long time ago" is the moment we read the thread about the broken wrist of the 145cm in DTF, this is what I mean, sorry for not saying it right before.

So what was the date the last doll with a weak wrist was shipped from Sanhui? So that buyers can be aware if they purchased one before that date.

The thicker metal does appear much stronger. I'm curious how a repair might be achieved for a break at that area, though. I can guess but would rather see. I hope it wasn't the resin that broke but imagine a good resin could be used to reconstruct that area.

From what I gather, the thicker metal piece wasn't incorporated before the broken wrists were reported. Do I have that correctly? Either way, I've been fortunate so far.

The metal inside tha palm plate has to be drilled out. Same with the upper arm as well.

OMG what a terrifying thread to read especially about a doll manufacturer that has created a product that has captivated so many of us in such a special way. It's so terribly heartbreaking to think that one of the most beautiful dolls ever introduced at the tdf could possess such fundamental flaws that could lead so many of us to not consider getting one. And I myself have been on the verge of getting a Sanhui more than any other brand.

If I wanted something in my life that was drop dead gorgeous but just ended up falling apart on and disappointing me.... I go back out with my ex.

Edit: and I really appreciate the DarkOne asking the tough questions, people can't be allowed to just give vague answers, half-truths and evidence in an attempt to sidestep the issues (the way president Trump always does) and the issue is we don't want to know what needs to be done to correct this we know what needs to be done it just needs to be done. And if after today there are no more reports of shoddy workmanship then we'll know this thread has served its purpose.

Good luck Sanhui, I still wish to purchase one of your masterpieces.

Pretty old thread, lonelybear. You might wanna PM George and ask him how things have been going more recently with Sanhui. I don't know the whole story, but alot can change in almost a year's time. Probably all sorted out by now.
