Dear Sanhui, can I get answers, please ?

I am interested in a head # 3 for my Sanhui 165, but cannot find conclusive information on several features and the list of questions just gets longer.

These are pictures of the original head that sparked my interest:

In the meantime, compatible dolls now have the very nice "structured skin", also announced a while ago:

So, I'd like to know now:
With respect to the reference above to the 16x series head #3, can I get this head with any or all of:
a) fully round ball like eyes ?
b) those eyes having irises on both sides ?
c) those eyes being replaceable ?
d) them being moveable/adjustable for looking in different directions ?
e) the structured skin the new dolls have

Kindly answer which of the points a,b,c,d,e I can get now if any and if I cannot get all then please tell if you plan to do more of those points or not in the future.
I would also very much like to see a few new/current pictures of head #3 with the round eyes and especially with the structured skin - if available.
If there is any additional information, kindly enlighten me.

My best guess at this moment is a,d&e but I would appreciate detailed feedback.

I'm wondering if the 26mm eyes I've made for the JM dolls would work for Sanhui.
They seem to be using the same design with the double sided iris...

Let's bump this thread before it gets overlooked again…

I believe, head #3 should be available with moveable eyes. The moveable eyes are considered to be not replaceable by design.

My guess is that the moveable eyes do not have irises on both sides as they sit on mechanics with a spring. However, I did not try to fully rotate they eyes on the two #1 heads with moveable eyes I had so far.

Though, I have no idea if #3 is or will be available with textured skin.

So enough guessing

Face #3 is not yet ready with movable eyes. Currently, only two Faces are available for movable eyes~ c.f. http://www.sanhuidolls/home （for specifications)

But sculptors and R&D are to develop movable eyes to almost all available models. This is one of the determined plans for the new year to come!

Noteworthy, R&D is working on a new installation of movable eyes that would make switch of iris possible~ Plus, more realistic irises are on research～ Should any customers help with the design by sending our R&D pictures or links, once adopted, special bonus to be sent~

Thanks you for the information.

I would appreciate some feedback once head #3 is ready with movable eyes as I cannot find the information on which heads feature them on your website - maybe just adding a small table to the FAQ specs section would help.

While working on updating the head are you planning on changing the surface to your new more skin like one or is it unlikely to be done?

In any case, looking forward to what your R&D is coming up with and hoping to see good developments next year.

Actually, I do have another question now, due to some feedback I got.

On the left picture with the dark hair her mouth is slightly open and there appears to be at least a shallow cavity behind, while on the right picture the shadows kinda play a trick of the light with depth and the lips seem( almost) closed.
So the question is - what is the actual structure and look on the lips on head #3 - is it a completely closed mouth( glued lips), is it a slightly open mouth with just a shallow cavity behind or is it more than that with teeth or even a tongue just hiding in the pictures - or better still, do I get a choice?

I have been investigating buying my first doll. I have looked at many makers and vendors and decided that Sanhui was probably the best bet.
My research has led to questions I would like answers to and I have messaged several manufacturers and vendors. I have received replies to all of my queries except for those to Sanhui. I have sent two messages on their web page and have received nothing from them.
Is this typical of Sanhui? One of the vendors recommended Sanhui, they said "from a quality point of view". But if this is an example of customer service to potential customers, can I really expect them to react any better to me if I actually bought one of their dolls?
It looks to me as if I should look elsewhere.

... you actually picked a really bad time as they were busy preparing for the AVN in Las Vegas, should currently be there and will likely head into Chinese New Year Celebrations/Holidays directly afterwards, so I recommend being patient ...

As for their dolls - I consider them good value for your money.

I've been waiting for this face to get moveable eyes since some time last year. I don't think anyone ever got the eyes with 2 sides.

I sure would like an update on the progress!

Exactly right. I have sent a few emails to their address Obin listed and they came back as undeliverable. Not sure what is going on. Even stranger is that after a wall of text and error codes from a bot saying that my message could not be delivered I got an actual reply from a real person at Sanhui. They said exactly what mi6c said. They are very busy with getting everything back home from AVN in Las Vegas and that everything will close down until after Feb 5. This waiting is typical.

They have been pretty helpful once you get a response.

I was also mailing them 1 and 2 then 3 times..about my presumebly new doll.
Well, oops I got an answer. really nice..
so far good respons in my further questions also ( maybe 3 or 4 Q).... so have FAITH...

In earlier correspondens ( regardning Q 1, 2 and 3) hehe )) they said that if i wanted to place an order there would be a slight delay ( as I could understand) in terms of shipping delay because of the Chinese Holiday/new year... ending in 20170205 I think...( Year Month Day ) correct.. hehe
