Static Electricity, how do we deal with that?

Post by MutantOne »

So, as the topic suggests, I am having some troubles with static. It makes for a fantastic light show in the dark, but my lovely Ali is picking up all kinds of stuff due to being so charged. I figure it will probably go away once the cold weather leaves and heaters are off, and a humidifier might help, i dunno. Do you guys have any pro-tips for dealing with such a sticky situation?

I apply baby powder when that happens. It really helps!

Ok, Mick, I'll reapply the powder tonight, see how that goes. Cant hurt, and certainly helps with the feel. I tried both baby powder and corn starch, didn't see too much difference between the two, although the baby powder does smell nicer.

trauma, as i don't have a hair dryer I can't try that option out at the moment. Good idea though.

Maybe try an anti-static wrist strap?

I have a grounding strap that I wrap around my girl's ankles. It is available from any electronics supply store for about $5.00.

The Baby Powder trick helps too, as well as an anti-static mat to have them stand on. The Mats are also available from any electronics supply store for about $20.00.

Lightly rubbing with a dryer sheet can clear the static charge that builds up.

Make sure that the penis is not the first thing to touch a staticy doll.
