I chose a WM head #39 I have been wanting and told Miracle to let her creativity run wild. She focused on her sensual closed eyes. She made her look completely different and unique. The blonde wig Miracle chose completes the look. Thanks, Miracle!

The head was packed well and arrived safely except for a slight bit of damage to the eyelashes. I think I fixed them pretty good.

I wanted to use the head with my Sanhui 165 but they don't work together without a little help. You need to use some kind of adapter. I saw this thread and went for it! You can contact Sandro or Mi6c to get help with selecting the right adapter.
I'm quite happy with the results. The adapter is well made and should last a long time. It allows for full movement and pose-ability of the head just as if it was made for the Sanhui body.
Now I know what you're thinking, "The WM head is TPE and the SH body is platinum silicone, isn't that bad?" Well I've had some cheap TPE stuff that got too close to silicone and it sure did melt! This is higher quality stuff and it seems okay to leave it in contact for a short time only. The added benefit of using this combo is that the WM head has mostly fiberglass(?) exposed on the bottom and the SH neck is so skinny that the skin does not touch most of the time. The neck flaps on the bottom of the head are a little bit bigger than the neck from the body so they only touch if you have the neck bent down or to the side.

To be clear: I accidentally left the neck looking down so the skin was touching for about a day and it started to feel wet! So be very careful. Either leave the head in a straight on position or take it off when you are done. I've left it on for days with no problem because the head was straight on and the skin was not touching. You could also make some kind of separator to put between the neck and the head.

I like the look of her. The skin color matches well and the head sits right on the neck. This is my first experience with quality TPE. It's pretty soft and feels nice, especially for a face. The lips feel pretty lifelike.

This is a great way to expand the possibilities of your doll of choice and I look forward to try more combinations.

Thanks!
Quinn hugs and says "Good night."

Hi, TheIQF,
It is really great to see such a nice combination. The head looks like a nature match with the body. Well done.
Yes, the WM head is a good one and I made her special for you. I am greatful for your praise.
Quinn is a hard working nurse, she needs some sleep. :)

Cheers.

Yes, because she is a nurse, I hope you can see that she has very gentle hands!

Thanks a lot for you help Mi6c (and Sandro) for getting me this adapter. I think the fit is just right. In fact, there are some things about this match up that make the head fit even better.

^Sanhui heads have some messy silicone under the head that can get caught.
It sometimes makes the head snap back from where you position it. (Some people have put extra silicone to reinforce it and protect against tears.)

^The WM head has a smooth surface under the head so it does not drag against the top of the doll's neck.
^You can see the adapter.
The adapter holds the position I put the head in pretty well.
Now that I know these adapters work I'd like to see more combinations.

There are so many possibilities. 8) And Miracle can make the head one of a kind.

Even if a combo theoretically should work it helps to see how it actually looks. Are the proportions right? Does the movement still function properly? At least with a WM head on a Sanhui body, the combination works great! :D

Thanks, Miracle! Several people made this possible!Image

As I said earlier, be careful about TPE and Silicone coming in contact with each other. I took a picture of the wetness that occurred when the chin was touching the neck for a little more than a day.

It does not show that well in the picture but it looked and felt wet. I removed contact immediately and left it alone. It is completely gone now with no trace. If I had let it sit longer or rubbed it the reaction might have been worse. It's safe enough to leave on for pictures (or in my case) just leave straight on so that no sides are touching. The WM head has a different surface under the neck and the flaps are just a little wider than the body's neck so it does not touch.

Some kind of separator would be much preferred just for safety's sake. And a necessity for other types of heads that have more TPE exposed on the bottom of the neck.

Ddwyerstar has this face on his DS Doll.
Here is what he said about his hybrid:

Sounds like an easy mod!
