I am already extremly impressed.

The hardest part will be to get them to actually walk in a stable way.
And when it comes to stairs it will be even harder or most likely impossible, atleast for now.

Am i the only one who thinks that theese androids will turn out to be extremly expensive?
Has anyone an idea at what price tag we will look at most likey?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this isn't an oral head.

I'm impressed that they are advancing quickly.
But there still a ways to go.

Movements are still a bit jerky (not sexy).
And the mouth movements lack phoneme movements. These are just jaw movements.

I'm glad someone is tackling this.
Just not quite there yet.

This is the prototype in various delvelopment stages.
The first release (per many of our press releases) will be the service bowing etiquette robot.
Once ready for sale into 2019.

Service and hospitality bowing etiquette robot will be the first main release.

The project group want the robot to become an actress. They have given her a name, LiaLai Jiang.
She is currently featured on a Chinese new technology programme.

The Head and Head on bust versions will be released around a similar time too.

Still without an official launch date in 2019, the products now are becoming much more developed and with LiaLai Jiang featuring on television in China, we can only expect the progress into 2019 to be advancing. DS will launch when the time is right, the videos do give a great insight into the hard work by the amazing R&D team at DS and the work in partnership with the university in the VR field of expertise.
