Ok, first shoot from the Doll Meet.
Backlit photography is tricky at the best of times, either the subject is thrown into shadow and under exposed, or the background is heavily over exposed and blown out. To compensate, I used a hand held LED work light (£35) to highlight her face and body while shooting with the other hand. (All the manual camera settings are avaliable if you click on the images).

Very little post production, except for reducing the saturation of the greens and a touch of vignetting. It's all in the pose and camera angle, and just so you know, I took about 80 shots to get these 8. I guess 1 in 10 ain't bad!
Can't recall the make of the dress, but it was a charity shop find, along with the necklace. To be honest, I wish I'd done this without the dress, her body is so utterly realistic, but at least I can post a few of these on instagram!
Worth mentioning that I've not applied any other make up, except for a touch of lip gloss, so what you see is the 'Kayla' face with the 'S level' make up that DS apply on all DS EVOs. For the 'super model' look, its absolutely wonderful. Not quite edgy enough for my taste, and if she was staying with me I'd go much heavier on the eye liner and eye shadow, but then again, I have my ExLite, Kayla, and no one slays it quite like she does as a Rock Chic. The EVO, on the other hand, is classic beach blonde babe that wouldn't be out of place gracing the pages of 'Sports Illustrated' or 'Playboy'.
*click for much better quality
Once again, I'd like to thank everyone that attended the meet and made it such an enjoyable time. Hope to see you all again next year if not before!
