Finally! Hotaru has made it home! The universe must have aligned just right. Our compressor that runs the plants air tools completely went to crap today! I got home just in time to meet her, and that was luck. Hotaru is probably 2/3 the weight of the driver who did the delivery. Her truck broke down in another small town last night (why I probably did not get a second attempt) and she had no hand truck to help with the package. So of course I was more than willing to give a hand.

It is amazing how real she feels, and soapy sponge baths have been AWESOME! DH 168 has done a miraculous job. I think I have fallen in love... We are documenting a lot of the homecoming, and will be sharing soon. All of the previous photos don't even come close to showing her beauty.

Just taking a break to update everyone, back to finishing the baths, and soon... the oil rub.

I dont know how you did it, my first day mirrored yours more or less, right up until the point I got her dressed the first time. Was way too excited to try more than one outfit that first night

Mainly, 5 am comes real quick when it's already midnight. I can't do the all nighters anymore, and I've held off from getting a bunch of outfits until I had exact measurements. There is also the fact of being my first doll I was kind of scared about how to handle her, but I'm becoming a lot more comfortable. Thanks for the compliments adelea!

Im in the same position - ive only had my 1st doll for a little less than 3 weeks, and when you are in the moment, you forget what they are like, and probably every day, I try and move her a little when I really shouldn't!

I've definitely have had some "oh shit" moments with her hands, even being very aware of them. Learned real quick how to avoid that. Learning curve lol!
