On the topic of "do men really perfer blondes", what seems to be my antidotal observation is that take a large enough group of women of various shapes, sizes, hair colors, etc. and for some reason the "blonds" will be the first ones to catch a mans eye. I have no idea why this is, but it appears there may be some truth to that.

HOWEVER, at least personally, while a blond may draw my eye first, that blond (or any others) is rarely the best looking woman in the group. The most attractive usually turns out to be a brunette.
