It shouldn't be too much glue the important is to start at the deepest part and slowly work your way out. My 100 cm kylee is coming along well. Almost done with her anal cavity. Her elbows knees and wrists are closed up where need be. I will post plenty of pics when i finish and explain everything i did as well

All her nicks and scrapes are pretty much dealt with. I will be posting the repair of her wrists. She will be getting a very small palm plate followed by a light. Flex tube like from a table lamp. She will be like a new doll.

Here is her broken wrist. I plan pinching the steel in forarm so it will be round. Her arms will be a little longer. And i am saving the fingers by applying a small amount of jb putty for a mini palm plate

We've been discussing the adhesives used to seal up DS mini Eva/Eve after surgery and on the "back surgery" topic and LoneRanger says that you have suggested that SilPoxy is not too good on DS doll silicones. DS themselves have recommended this to me so why do you think it doesn't work very well?

Ask haremlover too. Ds silicone is super "slick" not textured like other dolls. Sil poxy can be thick kind of. In thin amounts on your doll the permatec is best because you can use a thin amount close the doll up and barely leave a mark. And it won't leave "a hard spot" on your lady doll

So am i understanding that SilPoxy ends up being a harder texture than the original silicone and feels more like a 'scar' and Permatex is more flexible?
However, does SilPoxy actually work OK in adhering to the silicone?

Yes that is righ the sil poxy would be good to glue the innards back to the skeleton. But on the outside cuts permatex is real nice

Thanks samara78. There have been quite a few disasters happening to the skeletons of these dolls as you probably know. I can't seem to find Permatex in my country so I'll try to see if I can import it from the States. I do have SilPoxy but haven't received my new parts from DS yet so haven't even opened the tube yet!

Hi Dr. Samara78. I just read the whole thread. Your repair work looks beautiful. But i have a question on the permetex.? I did a search and found alote of permetex. Please advise on which one to pick for ds mini eva. And if any of the others are good for other types of dolls. Examples VRD, YL, RD, BT, first gen, second gen, etc.etc.

And what I understand opened Sil-Poxy tube is good for up to a year if stored properly in fridge? I'd hate to buy expensive little tube and then most of it just goes bad when not needed much. I recall reading from somewhere that some dude had kept his opened Sil-Poxy tube in a sealed jar containing acetone and it stayed good in there for many years and didn't cure inside the tube.

Yeah, that's one reason why I haven't opened it yet! I know from experience with other adhesives and sealants, once opened its shelf life is much reduced! As I have to seal huge cuts to replace the shoulder, torso and pelvis I think I'm going to make a big dent in the tubes contents!
