Should unhappy customer reviews be removed?

Post by Booty Call Dolls »

If someone is SO pissed off and complains in another vendors section and that person was ignored and finally the vendor start to FINALLY do something and then finally, all is resolved, do you think TDF should keep the thread or kill it per the original posters request?
I will not be purchasing anything from this company again. I work in the customer service industry and it is pretty annoying to see such sub par service for such expensive product.
If customer service is so important, we all should all be on the same playing field.
Then again, you would NEVER see anything like that in my section

WE THINK THE THREAD SHOULD REMAIN UNLESS IT IS PROVEN THE ORIGINAL POSTER LIED.
What do you think?

Hmm.. ideally, no thread should be removed that dealt with customer interaction, especially if that post had the original issue addressed by the company who got the complaint. Everyone deserves a chance to make a mistake, whether intentionally or not, and have a chance to correct it without wiping the record.

Complaints happen, and how they're handled is important enough to be left somewhere so others can see a record of it.

Should remain. If the complaint is justified they need to deal with it. If it is not
satisfied customers will come to their defense.

I don't even see why this should be a question. Transparency is paramount.

I asked this because one HUGE TDF vendor had two nasty threads going and supposedly, the original posters asked for the thread to be removed and both were. And there were people jumping into defend this vendor as well as...MORE complaints.
Now, their section looks like 100% satisfied customers. Far from the truth.
If that vendor had integrity they should ask TDF to add the post back in.
Then again...this vendor sold a purple and black lingerie to a Newbie buying a TPE doll!
Then this newbie is asking for help.
Call me crazy, but if that person was a BCD customer or an X/S, they never would have had to even post for help because we would have talked the kid out of the two colors of death for TPE ladies.

I think the tread should stay. That way we all can see. There is one manufacturer that makes tpe dolls and the toes are not glued together like other dolls. When the heat of the summer come they look all wild. You probably seen this doll before. They don't want any comments against there dolls and won't let advice be taken. I think all should be there. Just my thought I love all my ladies. Ella and Lydia say hi.

The whole point of a user forum is to exchange Ideas, Thoughts, Experiences (Both Good and Bad), network with others that have the same interest and ways to improve the hobby. This means that all postings that do not contain any illegal subject matter should not be deleted or removed.

"The following is only MY PERSONAL OPINION and SHOULD NOT be taken as any thing other than that!"
With that said, if a post gets out of control, "due to emotional entries or for what ever reason" then that thread should be locked, with an explanation of as to why it was locked. But once a post is made it should remain! To remove it for any reason other than it contains illegal subject matter is a dis-service to the users of the forum and the hobby as a whole.
