This is the reason I asked... Not much sense in posting these if only 2-3 of us can actually see the effect.

I started up Dolls in 3D but didn't get any takers.
I guess not to many people have the glasses anymore.
I actually remember that thread... but I didn't have the glasses, or know how to make anaglyphs - I was interested though.

I've only had my doll for 16 days and feel like I can relate to this.

I'm doomed.
Lol. We can both go down together then.

No. Seriously though...
I think this thread might need to be quarantined - some of the people visiting here seem to be getting infected with my own personal delusions of grandeur - that couldn't possibly be healthy for anyone.

Thank you Frost. I quite agree.

Heh! I've said this to a few people myself recently - so apparently, I'm not good at listening to my own sagely wisdom. (Wait... does this mean I actually have some?!)
It's true. We really are our own worst critics.

Your sunshine is looking really cute in that top. :)

I was laying beside Alyssa earlier and "You are my Sunshine" was something I said to her. I wish I had gotten my sunshine a few years ago.

Wow. Thank you for sharing that. I'm always happy to hear when Jennifer has had a positive effect on people, although to be quite honest, I'm still pretty much baffled by it too. Jennifer is very special to me, but I've always imagined that she's 'just another doll' to everyone else. With so many beautiful dolls and talented photographers on TDF, it's just hard to believe that my simple portrait/bust shots could be anything but boring by comparison, so it's nice to hear that this isn't always the case.

Thanks Jimmy. Believe it or not, that outfit didn't really 'click' for me until found the right wig to go with it - then, it suddenly just looked 'right'.
And yeah... I sometimes catch myself singing 'You are so beautiful' to Jennifer - They seem to have that effect on us.
Like you, I wish that I had found Jennifer decades ago.

Well... it looks like I'm SOL then, as I just spent every last penny a had on a new camera.

Looks like it's back to beans, rice, and Ramen for me... I hope it's worth it.

Thanks EW. I was actually surprised to hear that so many people can't get this to work - I always thought everyone could see this effect, easily... guess I just took it for granted. Live and learn.

----------------------------

... and just because one photo rarely ever seems to be enough, here are some of the precursors to the previous image... and no 3d stuff this time.

Image --------- Image

* It took me about half an hour just to iron this pink checkered shirt... only to bunch it all up in the back, and then tie it into a knot in the front. The (unseen) things we do...

Image

Image

* On a side note:
Each piece of these outfits came from Swap.com, but were made by different clothing manufacturers, and were purchased separately over the course of about 18 months. Do you have any idea how hard it is to successfully match random pinks from different clothing sources? (Arrgh!)

Image

I love it when a plan (finally) comes together.

Thanks for stopping by.

I absolutely love these two shots. Big smile on face and have to keep coming back for another look. :D
I have to say, Jen is the root cause of big smile.

Nice match with your pinks. As you say, not easy.

That outfit is a WINNER!

I personally really like that look.
The hat, coat, glasses and collared shirt underneath.
With her brown hair, its just so satisfying.
Reminds me of class like Audrey Hepburn but not in a pretentious, "look at me, I'm Audrey Hepburn" kinda way.
I'm rambling
Just beautiful photo man.

Uh oh, are you suggesting naughtiness? Are you asking Jen to flash you sir? :P

I echo the others here, LBL, just one fantastic shot after another and everything works beautifully. Superb.
