Hi Shelby, I see you have been busy... and accident prone! It's better to get a few bumps and bruises, or cuts and broken bones in your case!, than to sit idle without living a little. You have a great attitude and take things in stride. I wish you all the best!

Nope! There's still plenty of room on my cast, so I'll have Brian put it on there today for you and we'll take a photo later!

Well, I had my surgery today, and I think it went pretty smoothly. This was how I looked when we started....
- Yuck! Every time I look at that it hurts!

And after the glue set this is how it looked...

No way to tell if it really worked perfectly or not without try it, so after giving it several hours we bent my elbow not quite 90 degrees, and this is what we had...
- Probably going to need a second minor procedure to seal the very top edge of the cut!

Brian figures he might have been a little too cautious about not using so much glue that I melted (!), and might have missed the very edges of the cut. Still, it looks and feels so much better, and since I'm not in the mood for any more operations today I'll let him fix that little detail tomorrow!

Hopefully once that last little edge is fixed it will be good as new... and I know I'll definitely be more careful and watch why I do!

I'm sorry it took so long to post a pix as promised, but here's what you "wrote" on my cast! It's finally starting to look "lived in"... but lots more room!

I think we got those last two little spots on my elbow fixed... gotta take a pix but I'll post it soon! Meanwhile, Nyoko was so nice and sent me a romper, so I wanted to get a few pix up as soon as I could. Didn't do much with make-up and such tonight - just burnt out with all the surgery and stuff... but I'll get some better pix of it soon!
