THE SAME METHOD SHOULD WORK FOR PUBIC HAIR

As I have been gearing up for a doll purchase in a couple of months I made some test eye and brow silicone casts to practice doing makeup and such on.. And after reading this thread and similar ones I decided to go ahead an attempt a eyebrow punch. Considering it was my first hair punch ever I think I did okay. I watched videos on YouTube to get the jest of it. (The key to it is how they hold the hair while pressing it in and also the angle at which you punch the hair into the silicone/ "target material". After this im fairly sure I don't want to have to redo eyebrows all the time so I think with some more practice I will do the heads on my doll once I get them. Below is the test run results as well as a glue method attempt that I wasn't to pleased with.

Supplies used for the hair punching: TOTAL COST FOR ALLOT OF MATERIALS = $30 and some of your time. (ITS WORTH IT)

HAIR: (it comes in allot of different colors and is very fine and soft to the touch! the most expensive one is $15.)

PUNCHING TOOL: (Comes in a multipack kit for only $9)

SCISSORS: (Any will do) I used $5 nail scissors. (The slight curve as well as the short blades allows for more fine tune trimming of angles and individual hairs.)

Videos to watch: (The key to it all is the way you hold the hair while pushing it into the silicone as well as the angle of the needle as it goes into the target material. The angle of the needle decides what direction the hair leans out of the skin when its inserted and the way you hold the hair is what makes grabbing the hairs easier.

My 1st Test RESULTS:

USE THE SMALLEST NEEDLE FOR BROWS AND FINE DETAIL WORK.

THIN EYEBROWS GUIDE:

Create fewer hairs in thin Zone.

Thinner hair zones are Created with few strokes/punches in the thin zone areas with your preferred application tools and medium.

Create more hairs in thicker Zone.

Thicker hair zones are Created with more strokes/punches in the thicker zone areas with your preferred application tools and medium.
.
*If punching hairs try to work with the bend of the face/brow and angle your needle so that the hair goes into the skin at such an angle that it lays against the face instead of sticking straight up. (Be careful not to punch back through the eyebrow though.)
