New JinSan push connector design for the Head-Neck

Hi All,

Just had a doll delivered to The-Doll-House, and we noticed as part of our in-house check that the the old 16mm thread was not present.
We removed the connector to find it was a full push connector - push into neck, and push to connect the head.
Once removed the old 16mm thread was indeed still present.

So we had a word with the factory, and it seems that they now have (although have not advertised yet):
  • 16mm threaded - as we all know
  • Full Push Connector
  • Half threaded, half push connector
So looks like there will be more options for your JinSan dolls very soon.

Interesting. So the connector just slides in to the existing bolts. Brilliant while remaining backwards compatible. How much are these connectors going to sell for by themselves?

Hi DQ,

I having a small number sent over to us in the UK for testing, but I can't imagine them selling for more than £5 + postage.

This is what Jinsan told me.
As for the screw ,the second one we will be never use now ,because it difficult to pull out . so we use the first and third screw now (main third screw ) .

I'd also be interested in knowing more about this so I can incorporate these options for head stands.
So does each TPE doll maker have their own special head connectors now?
This one from SM looks a bit different. It would be nice if they could standardize on this somewhat.

As far as I can tell MF the design is a M16 thread on one end and a ball lock to fit the M16 thread on the other end. Jinsan has assured me they are backwards compatible with all WM, YL, Or heads and bodies.

I've ordered some to stock in my store. I'll let you know how they work out. My shipment should be ready Monday.
