I emailed with Jack and I am getting one of the all new models!

Very exciting. Time to start thinking about what head to get. I have a little bit of time to decide.

It is so nice to have someone like Jack who is listening to TDF community and responding to our desires.

I went to Walmart today and purchased a pair of Jordache jeans, just like Katie's, for the new doll.

Katie's jeans were size 5 and I got size 8 for the new "larger SM136" doll. (total guess for the size. a $13, gamble)

I will have to find a different sweater though. Katie got kinda shitty about it and said: "That new doll isn't wearing MY sweater!" She had tears in her eyes.
I think once Katie meets the new doll the ice will thaw. But for now I better get a different sweater.

I am considering head #57. It is difficult with only the single picture from the head list. When I look at the #57 picture I see potential.
Another head on the list is #41. I suspect it may be a nice face that just wasn't made up and photographed very well for the list picture. Bit of a gamble.

Well Metricnut, no wonder your Katie is acting out. You are a bit unsensitive with this. First you basically tell her she is too small and now you already start to buy her clothes in bigger sizes. She has to be convinced you can not wait to replace her with a taller girl.


With the heads, yeah, it is tricky, and if you are someone like me with not that much imagination I prefer to see the head with different hair colors and ideally some different makeup. I tend to search on vendor pages for additional photos.

The cast from the factory looks great but for me she will be a little short at 155cm. I am still eager to see the full doll though
