You have tightend the waist to strong, there is almost nothing left there!
Elfs are known to fly away sometimes, this one sure is not getting away...

I never had problem with my SMdoll doll.
I'm careful not to over-tighten the TPE.
You have to use soft and supple ropes ,with the texture of cotton, never hard or rough.
