take out skeleton TB deluxe.

Post by titjob »

Hi friends.
let me know how difficult it is to take out skeleton from a TB deluxe
just with a small hole.....
If I take out leggs first.
may I can fold her doubble for easier store.
I think its harder to take out the upper part of skeleton.

I know some here was making a floppy TB.
sorry for my bad English.

my Valeningirls cuddle is soo good.
now I need my TB same

The skeleton is wire and welded. The arms are separate from the spine and legs. The head is also held on by the skeleton (one clamp in the head and one in the neck with two thick pieces of cardboard between them). You would have to open up the seem on the back and make a cut in the spine to pull it out. If you cut the spine and leave the top part so the head is attached still, you'd have to trim it pretty close to the base of the head to keep it from being too floppy.

Interesting. I have so much fun posing my TB. I don't think it would be as much fun if she were floppy. But good luck!

Also, what are Valeningirls?

yes, the allusion to the Valentina Girls is because titjob has one, that don't have a skeleton.

This is the peculiarity of the Valentina Girls: the concept of this doll is that you can choose three finalization options. Normal with a skeleton, completely "soft" without skeleton and finally, it is even possible to buy only the envelope "skin" and fill the stuff yourself. It also makes it possible to reduce the weigh/size for transport.

In a skeleton-free version, it is therefore a soft toy like a teddybear! there are no "hard" bones in it.
Also, we can imagine that it is even better for making hugs.

So the idea is to know if we can remove the skeleton in a TBD, to obtain a completely soft doll. From what I know of the internal structure of TBDs, I don't think this is easily possible.
