I don't know what they did but the wires in her legs don't seem to be connected directly to wires in her torso. But there is also no joint. Probably some type of flexible tube or just being held in place by tightly stuffed fill material and the skin. Her thighs and lower legs are connected tho, to get that angle i need to bend the wire but I usually keep it like this even in bed.

That's really interesting... and clever if it's true. I heavy doll would probably need more skeletal support, but for a Teddy Babe if her "backbone" wasn't connected to her "hips" not only might it not be a disaster, it might actually be a great idea. Not sure, but I know Audrey doesn't like to sit like that unless I really work at it and get her lower back or hips (something in there) to bend, then I have to unbend her if I want her straight again. And even then she never sits as well as Anette does.

One day I'm sure someone will do a repair or replacement and we'll get to see the new skeleton, but it sounds like the new ones do have some advantages.

I think valentines but I dont know so much about her jet.
How loose or stuff they are.

I actually think too that they might be the best life sized dolls for hidden travelling. Or inflatables. Arrrgggghhhh. LOL. Yes sadly we won't know. For now I'm happy with my Anette since I don't have to travel right now anyway.

Congratulations on your new lady Anette! Your photos are giving my Rhonda ideas and I'm not sure how I feel about that.

When the budget allows I've also considered buying her a Nicole wig, and when her original wig gets trashed as they eventually do, I'll likely be replacing it with a Lisa Standard wig which appears to be a more coppery color.

Okay, my lazy gal's telling me it's time for some photos. I DID buy her a new dress so I should probably oblige her. Cheers!

Didn't get anything new for her in quite some time but lately ordered a robe and a jeans shirt for Anette for christmas. The robe will take a while but the shirt arrived yesterday, so I made a few shots. The shirts size is 34 (EU, a tad smaller than S). At first I thought it's perhaps too small but once dressed it fits her well except the arms which are a bit too short but that doesn't matter.

I had some more time today and made another photo shooting with her new jeans shirt and her black leggins. Actually today Anette is fully dressed even with black lace bra and panties too. Usually she doesn't need that many clothes ...

I'm still using the Nicole wig on her, it's my absolute favorite and best to have when you sleep and cuddle with her.

Here she is sitting again in her favorite chair watching the world outside the window.

Oh yes doll trolling (drolling?) might get a real problem in the future when there are much more dolls around!
