Silicone mask turns a TB Deluxe into an Ultra

I’ve had a Tina TB Deluxe for 5 years (along with 3 other types of silicone & TPE dolls). She is in great condition and is my favorite for snuggling with the lights out (her face breaks the realism). So the Ultra would be a great upgrade except for spending the dollars when I already have 75% of what an Ultra would be.

So I am considering buying a silicone masks and then purchasing the new nipples and insert. It would save me around $1K. Has anyone tried this? What do you think? Would it work?

Are you going to get some half round eyeballs? Will the mask keep a good shape?

That's the thing. Looks like a great mask. Much better looking than TB ultra, IMO, but it's designed to follow the contour of a human face and be set in around the wearers own eyes.

Tina’s face may not exactly follow the contours of the mask. However, the pillow like face can be squeezed into shape. If the nose and/or lips do not match the contours, I can remove them or file them down. I could also stuff some cotton into the mask under the nose to give it some substance. I hope the eyes of Tina line up. But if not there are other options including half eyes, a sleeping mask, etc. I will wait for Halloween to end to see what sales may exists that could sweeten the deal on masks.

Are TB heads removable?
If yes, why not make a complete new head using the mask?

Heads are permanently attached.

Ooops sorry was distracting from the mask. It really looks very nice but the price seems a tad high.

Sorry, but the sense in that eludes me. Why not buy a cold, heavy, jiggly doll in the first place? I may be biased here, but you have to grant me that point!

I don't know... the jiggly part sounds fun, lol.

On the whole though, nothing could ever replace my Teddy Babe and I like her exactly as she is.

I had a visitor yesterday and had to hide my dolls. I played a bit with my "heavy & cold" Luna (19Kg) and just thought never again I gonna buy one of those.
