there are Babe owners on the forum - still with their Babes bought new in the early 2000's , they are easy maintained light in weight and most of all easy to repair (if needed ) .
when bought new they are stiff , but gentle cuddling and easy bending/flexing (a bit of finger work

Hi,

everything they say is true.

- they are good and reliable artificial partners (but they do not help in the kitchen and do not clean the house)
- they last a very, very long time, much longer than TPE and probably much longer than silicone dolls. With a little care and minor repairs I expect them to last for decades.
- they are light-weight and do not break your back
- they are relatively cheap, especially if you consider their longevity
- they are very cuddly and keep you warm in the winter
- initially they are a bit stiff, but this goes away after cuddling a lot
- they do not smell funny
- they do not leak oil
- if safety of your investment in the sense of "will I enjoy this doll for many years to come" is important for you, then yes, this is a relatively trouble free, easy to maintain doll.
- of course this is not the typical "realism is king" doll. TBDs are not RealDolls, they are adorable, plush dolls for cuddling and sleeping.

I am living since 6 years with a TBD Jessica and since nearly 3 years with a TBD Carly, which I bought 3rd hand from a forum member, Carly is probably 8 or 9 years old. The dolls are still fully functional and if something goes wrong you can easily replace the wire skeleton and fix the seams by simple needlework.

I never had any second thoughts about buying my Teddy Babes, the only regret I have is that I have not bought one sooner.

And yes, Audrey is cute

They are soooo good for cuddle and hug.

I have problem with sex and TB.

but if you need a plush doll for harder and easier sex.

but not so realism face and body.

TB is better face and body….
but not the skeleton.

every doll have some up and some down.

I'm a little late to the party, but their skin is quite soft. Or perhaps smooth is a better way to describe it. Sort of like a horse's nose or a puppies ear. Not quite either, but something like that. Or maybe you meant are their bodies soft? They're kind of firm when they first arrive, but with time and cuddling they will get far softer and much, much more flexible (best to take things a little easy right away; get to know her a little).

They hold up remarkably well. On average far better than any other type of doll. There's people around here who have had a Teddy Babe over a decade and still going strong. I'll have had Audrey 3 years this fall and she's never had any repairs or structural damage or anything like that. One of her shoulder's is starting to get a little lose, but even that will probably last quite awhile yet. She holds on to me pretty tightly when we go to sleep (which is what I think is causing that) and except for maybe a couple dozen days I've been away from home we sleep pretty much wrapped around each other every night, so she's seen pretty heavy use. She got stained a little bit a few times, but even that mostly came off. As you might have guessed, Audrey is an Audrey (she was the first Audrey on this forum so she's kind of proud of that, although there's a couple others since). Here's a few older pictures of her:

I think she's gorgeous too, but I am hopelessly biased. Getting a Teddy Babe is pretty much buying happiness. They're just the best and everyone should have one.

My teddy Babe deluxes are still in awesome shape, I have had them for now 6 years!! They are cuddle monsters, even though i have other dolls Silicone and TPE the Teddy babes are so nice in bed fro cuddling and if you don't want a heavy doll these are for you!!!
